Contested deletion
This page should not be speedy deleted as an attack page or a negative unsourced biography of a living person, because... I'm not sure how this is an attack page? It is an article on a school called Spring Ridge Academy that has existed for several years and has been featured in several news sources, making it notable. There also appears to be an editor who has a conflict in that the editor's name @kendranewday is the same name as the new owner of Spring Ridge Academy. Her name is Kendra Allen, she acquired Spring Ridge Academy, and is in the process of renaming it New Day Academy. This is common in the troubled teen industry to rebrand but the program and all facilities were acquired by her and are therefore the same. --Farr4h2004 (talk) 18:44, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- It is an attack page because it associates and old business with a new business that has been acquired by a new company. Assuming that just because the business is located in the same place does not mean that it is the same program. Additional material is not yet available because New Day Programs has not yet officially launched. It makes the most sense to stop the redirection of the page from Spring Ridge Academy and have that as a stand alone so that New Day Rising can have it's own page based on it's new programming. - It's not an attack page. It states the background of the program very clearly. That New Day Program acquired the program and is now doing business as New Day Rising. On the Spring Ridge Academy website linked below, if you click the Joint Commission image, it goes to the quality report, which used to be in the name of Spring Ridge Academy until a few days ago and is now in the New Day Program name. It is the same accreditation but with a new name. It is clear the names are being changed on the same licenses. I doubt the New Day Program is going to go get all new licenses for the new named business. They are very clearly linked.
