Hello About the University of Tehran logo: I should mention that I did NOT upload or add this image. This logo (TUMS logo.JPG / The university of tehran.jpg) was already on the page before my edits. I was editing other content on the article, not the logo. I am not responsible for its fair use rationale or copyright information. I would like to clarify something important. The accounts ~2026-10369-30 and ~2025-40709-78 both belong to me. I know that using multiple accounts is against Wikipedia's policy, and I sincerely apologize for this mistake.

Here is what happened: I was editing with my first account, but the page got stuck in a loading state after I saved my changes. I thought my edit had not been submitted successfully, so I logged in with my second account and made the same edit again. I did not intend to deceive anyone or create the false impression that multiple people supported my edits. It was an honest mistake caused by a technical issue and my lack of experience.

I now understand that this is considered sockpuppetry, even if unintentional. From now on, I will only use one account for all my edits. I apologize for any confusion or disruption this may have caused.

I have a conflict of interest with Tehran University of Medical Sciences and am therefore requesting that an independent editor review this proposed change rather than making the edit myself.

I would like to request the addition of a History section to the article Tehran University of Medical Sciences, covering the institutional development of medical education in Tehran from the establishment of the medical department of Dar al-Fonun in 1851, through the School of Medicine and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tehran, to the subsequent reorganisation of medical education under the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.

The proposed section is intended to provide historical context rather than promotional information. The wording should be reviewed and, if necessary, modified by an independent editor to comply with Wikipedia's policies on neutral point of view, reliable sources, verifiability, and what Wikipedia is not.

Proposed historical scope

1. Dar al-Fonun and the origins of modern medical education

The historical account should begin with the establishment of Dar al-Fonun in Tehran in 1851 by Mirza Taqi Khan Amir Kabir. Encyclopaedia Iranica describes Dar al-Fonun as a college founded in Tehran in 1851 which marked the beginning of modern education in Persia.
