Can this photo of Tony Abbott be the standard photo now--~~Celco85~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Celco85 (talk • contribs)
- You ignored the script that someone left stating <!--Do not change image without gaining consensus for such change on talk page.-->. Someone obviously left that for a reason because this has obviously been a contentious issue in the past. Now down to your image. It isn't enhanced as it changes his hair colour. TarnishedPathtalk 13:36, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- The adjustments you've made to lighten the photo have had the effect of lightening his hair to a different shade than it was (before he started to go grey in any case). I think that's an issue. TarnishedPathtalk 13:43, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, I should write the adjustments that whoever touched up the photo made. TarnishedPathtalk 13:43, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Under post-parliamentary career, there is a Guardian external link that needs to be converted into a proper citation. 51.7.196.108 (talk) 05:31, 14 August 2025 (UTC)

Official portrait
- Official portrait (2013)
An official portrait of Abbott is ready if it is able to be used. Just needed confirmation first. Executive20000 (talk) 21:15, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not a fan of images in which the subject is leaning, but it's an otherwise good image. I'm not going to argue against it. TarnishedPathtalk 22:03, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
- Use It is the current one in use, but this should be an established consensus. I believe official portraits should be used on all politicians and world leaders if available mainly because there are going to be many pictures of world leaders and politicians, whereas there is generally only one portrait. Although there could be different ones for different terms of Australian Parliament, the United States Congress, the British Parliament, Lok Sahba ETC, but I believe these articles InfoBox photo should always be a portrait if possible.
