Request to update music career section (COI disclosure)
Hello. I am posting here to request corrections and updates to the music career section of this article. I am the subject of this article (Trevor Blumas) and am disclosing that conflict of interest upfront, in keeping with Wikipedia's COI guidelines. I am not making these edits directly and am instead requesting that an independent editor review and action the changes below.
1. Remove outdated and unsourced content
The following passage currently appears in the article:
- As a teenager, Blumas took a break from acting to form the reggae band "Staylefish." The band went on to receive minor success around the Canadian college circuit, before Trevor left for Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. After re-locating back to Toronto, he started Corduroy (or Whatever Happened to Corduroy?) an indie-rock group that independently released a series of PWYC demo ep's they dubbed Demoroy's. Corduroy's music recently appeared in an online campaign for Chevrolet and in an episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation. Corduroy eventually dissolved in 2010.
I am requesting that this entire passage be removed. The information is outdated, and to my knowledge there are no reliable, independent sources that verify these claims. Per Wikipedia's policy on verifiability, unsourced content is appropriate to remove.
2. Update the Doomsquad section
The current article describes Doomsquad as an early-stage electronic music project with a debut EP released in early 2011. This is significantly outdated. Doomsquad has since grown into a well-established recording and touring act with multiple albums, international press coverage, and label representation. I would request the section be updated to reflect this.
Below are reliable, independent sources that document Doomsquad's established career and can be used to support updated content:

3. Suggestion: Doomsquad may warrant its own Wikipedia article
Given the volume and quality of independent coverage from notable outlets (NME, CBC, Vice, Dazed Digital, The Line of Best Fit, Exclaim!), as well as label representation (Hand Drawn Dracula, Bella Union), it may be worth considering whether Doomsquad meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines for a standalone article. I am flagging this for any editor who may wish to assess that.
Thank you for your time. I am happy to provide any additional information or clarification if helpful.
