Number by country

The data on how many Ukrainians there are in different countries is extremely out of date e.g. there are now hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians in the UK after the war there created a lot of refugees. 2A00:23C7:CA80:7501:88E4:3B11:1853:AF86 (talk) 10:47, 1 October 2025 (UTC)

Russian should be added as one of the languages

The vast majority of Ukrainians speak Russian. Many Ukrainians' Russian is even better than their Russian, even in Ukraine. ~2026-11207-2 (talk) 05:41, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

Correction regarding Slavic population rankings

Please correct the factual error in the article regarding the population ranking of Slavic ethnic groups. The text currently states that Ukrainians are the second-largest Slavic nation, which is inaccurate. Russians are the largest, followed by Poles as the second-largest, making Ukrainians the third-largest Slavic ethnic group by population. Looking at the article's history, this was previously correct but was later changed to the current incorrect ranking without proper justification. Even within Wikipedia's own articles, there is a clear contradiction: - The "Ukrainians" article infobox states a total population of c. 46 million. - The "Poles" article infobox states a total population of c. 60 million. External sources to support this change: 1. Additionally, if you check the linked Ukrainian source currently used in the article to support this claim, it actually states that Ukrainians are the third largest Slavic nation, right after Russians and Poles, once the text is translated. Furthermore, other language edition of Wikipedia (such as the Italian) accurately states that Poles are the second-largest Slavic ethnic group, aligning with the actual demographic data.
