Too much aerials
Recently too much aerials were added to the article and it was overloaded with pictures from the bird view, but people usually see the city from ground perspective.
My suggestion is seek for more balanced number of illustrations, more from the street level and less from the drone or plane.
We are humans, not birds, after all. Too much is too much. 78.56.27.234 (talk) 13:43, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- I agree, what do the others think? +JMJ+ (talk) 17:33, 13 December 2025 (UTC)
- I disagree that having aerial photos are bad for the article because they allow to see the objects in full view (e.g. squares, palaces, etc.) and there are not too much aerial photos in the article. Moreover, these aerial photos mostly were taken by a well-known photographer Augustas Didžgalvis, thus they are of much higher quality than various tourist-class photos in respective Commons categories. So only the photos taken by another professional photographer Diliff are better in this article. -- Pofka 20:30, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
