Album Cover Art
Caption claims girl is "posing suggestively". I fail to see how. What, precisely is her pose "suggesting"??? It clearly is a pose for the camera. I'd characterize it as "assertive". Anyway, my point is that "suggestively" is only in the mind of certain viewers and is far from an objective description.98.19.179.27 (talk) 03:23, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Page features straight up CSAM?
This seems like a major legal and ethical violation right? How can Wikiedia keep this up? 51.175.135.101 (talk) 02:12, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
- The section § Cover photo, making up the majority of the article, discusses this issue in depth. We also have Internet Watch Foundation and Wikipedia, an article about the image's blacklisting and its effects on Wikipedia. Hopefully that will help you understand "how". jlwoodwa (talk) 05:38, 17 August 2025 (UTC)

Not done: Wikipedia is not censored. While obviously a controversial cover, content will never be removed for simply being objectionable, per MOS:OFFENSIVE and WP:NOTCENSORED FMRadio :3(chat | edits | she/her) 19:09, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
- CSAM is not just objectionable or controversial, it's straight up illegal. Finlandestonia (talk) 17:23, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
- The second paragraph of the lead section details the previous controversy with the cover. Both the Wikimedia Foundation and the subsequent investigation by the FBI concluded that the artwork did not violate any United States laws, which are the applicable laws because Wikipedia is hosted in the United States.
- Moral or emotional reactions are not grounds for a deletion and legality is not determined by personal discomfort. FMRadio(talk | edits | she/her) 00:18, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
