- Hi Intelligence Knowledge, welcome to DYK.
First (and serious problem), for a single day, not new enough
, I guess that we could apply common sense and give you the exception so we don't WP:BITE you. I leave this for another user to consider. That said, the article meets requirements mostly—reliably sourced
except for WP:RGATE, it must be replaced. The hook is certainly interesting, but its verification online is difficult. Google Search throws your assertion to be true, but full access to the websites where the journal is available requires either a subscription or a membership to an institution. Is there any other reliable source that may be of open/free registration access? Earwig finally shows no signs of copyvio. QPQ not required. Please, can you as well take care of categorizing the article? More categories per tag in footer. Well, I hope an exception can be made for this nomination and not get automatically turned down because of the newness (narrow) miss. CoryGlee 23:16, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for the review CoryGlee. The hook fact is sourced to https://www.atunileorganics.com/nilotica.html which is fully open access with no subscription required. I will add the Kew Plants of the World Online entry as an additional open-access citation in the article to support the hook fact, and will add further categories to the article. — Intelligence Knowledge (talk) 17:05, 29 April 2026 (UTC)
- GTG,
– but please, @Intelligence Knowledge:, replace or remove Research Gate per WP:RGATE. Thanks for the work. CoryGlee 18:59, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
ResearchGate citation removed per WP:RGATE. Bettersource tag also removed. Article is ready. Intelligence Knowledge (talk) 19:01, 1 May 2026 (UTC) Hi CoryGlee, just checking in. The ResearchGate citation was removed per WP:RGATE on 1 May. Confirming the article is ready on our end whenever you are. Happy to assist with anything else needed. Intelligence Knowledge (talk) 13:11, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
Hi CoryGlee, following up again — all requested changes have been completed. ResearchGate citation removed, Kew Plants of the World citation added as open-access support for the hook fact. The article is ready on our end. Happy to assist with anything else needed to move this forward. Intelligence Knowledge (talk) 10:16, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
