Your Liam Payne question
Jolielover, I saw that you brought Louis Tomlinson to GA. I tried to bring Liam Payne's posthumous TV series Building the Band to DYK (nom), but it was rejected. At some point I plan on bringing it back as a triple nom with 3Quency and User:Artscontribute/sandbox/Brianna Mazzola; do you plan on bringing Payne to GA at any point so I can run it as a quadruple?
- Responding here since I don't want the DYK nom to be crowded with off-topic discussion, thanks for letting me know! I've thought of it, but I'm not too sure. I could definitely try getting Liam Payne to GA, but no promises there. I was actually a Louis Tomlinson fan, never a 1D fan, though I did improve that page too in extension to Louis's - but Liam's death did bring me an interest in him, too. I also want to add that it took 10 months to get Louis a review, so no promises it'll even squeeze into the 7-day window with the 3 other hooks! If I do take it to GA, I will let you know :) btw, thanks for your nice work in DYKs, you're a very familiar face! jolielover♥talk 14:54, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

Discography sourcing question for Piper Rockelle Page
I added a section-level additional sources tag to the discography because it currently appears to rely solely on Apple Music, which is a primary source. You reverted this as “already fully sourced,” so I wanted to check whether there are independent secondary sources verifying the discography that I may have missed. Waypoint47 (talk) 23:38, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Waypoint47: Discography entries need neither independent sources nor secondary sources per WP:VENDOR. You only need those if you want to mention them in prose.--Launchballer 23:48, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

Factor
That hook is now emasculated as you've removed the interesting fact. The Aussies developed it (aerospace sector blah blah), in conjunction with Factor; they didn't buy it, and certainly not at that price. That price was set, if you read the link, so that no one could buy it. Please restore the hook. Thanks! Ericoides (talk) 18:04, 25 February 2026 (UTC)

Thank you for the edit
Hey, thank you for the clean up for the Smeargle article. That section had gone through multiple rewrites and so it was going to eventually contain errors, sorry about that. I take it that the users at the "unmentionable site" aren't particularly fond of my work? Anyways, thank you again and I hope you have a nice day. CaptainGalaxy 22:51, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
- It's this comment on Wikipediocracy. I wouldn't worry about it, they pick on mine all the time (and in fact some of my nominations have been made just to get a reaction out of them).--Launchballer 23:06, 27 February 2026 (UTC)

Kim Petras
Hi Launchballer. I saw that a couple of times you edited Kim Petras with an edit summary of "add" but the edit made the article smaller. Please can you check that you didn't accidentally remove anything without meaning to? Thanks. DanielRigal (talk) 17:41, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

Draft
Hello, i came to see that you moved my article about the trilateral agreement between Greece-Israel and Cyprus to draft. I honestly do not understand this move. My article was reviewed, was nominated for DYK, was approved for DYK and all was good. But you decided to take such extreme measures and move it to draft, for no apparent reason. Well except writing it is not ready for main space. No explanation why? No explanation what was wrong? No explanation what is missing, or any true insight of how to improve an article that past several eyes and reviews, all saying it is good. This seems like brutal use of power for no reason. TonyFerro (talk) 12:28, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- @TonyFerro: Apologies for my inaccurate edit summary. Per @Theleekycauldron:'s post at WP:ERRORS - to which you was pinged - you may not edit that article at all per WP:CT/A-I as you have fewer than 500 contributions. Hyperpop
Why did you remove sources by the New York Times, Dazed and Paste Magazine from the hyperpop page? I do like that you removed a lot of the unreliable ones but it has made it a bit of work to now have to re-add the ones which were reliable. Aradicus77 (talk) 20:43, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- All my source removals were either due to failing one of WP:RS, WP:V, or WP:COATRACK, but to answer the question of those three:
- New York Times did not mention hyperpop.
- Dazed was the only one of the three sources used for "while also earning the highest critical ratings of 2024 on Metacritic" that actually mentioned hyperpop and it verified none of it.
- Paste was the only one of the three sources used for "In 2024, Charli XCX's album Brat, released on June 7, peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 and saw commercial success in the US, UK, and Australia" that actually mentioned hyperpop and it verified none of it.--Launchballer 21:16, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
