Abdullah Al Noor, professionally known as Tanim Noor, is a Bangladeshi filmmaker, screenwriter and producer who works predominantly in Dhallywood cinema and Bangladeshi television drama. He made his directional debut with the psychological thriller film Phirey Esho Behula (2011).

Early life
Tanim Noor was born in Shyamoli, Dhaka, Bangladesh. At the first of his education at Dhaka Residential Model College.[1] Then he completed his early education in Dhaka College and graduated from the University of Dhaka.[2]
Career
Tanim Noor's career began in 2009.[3] In 2011, he made his directional debut film Phirey Esho Behula, where starring Jaya Ahsan, Tauquir Ahmed, Humayun Faridi, Shatabdi Wadud, Raisul Islam Asad and Intekhab Dinar.[2][4]
He, along with director Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, set up Dope Productions and began working on commercial projects. In 2017, Tanim restarted making compelling short films under "Projonmo Talkies", a YouTube-based short film platform by Film Noir.[2][5]
In 2018, he directed an anthology film titled Iti, Tomari Dhaka, which was made by him and 10 other directors. In 2019, he made the web series "Money Honey", where starring Shamol Mawla, Nishat Priom, Lutfur Rahman George, and others.[6][7] In 2020, he made the series Ekattor. In the same year, he joined as a creative producer in the web series Taqdeer. Later, he directed ZEE5's original series "Contract" and Hoichoi's "Kaiser".[8] In 2022, he worked as an executive producer in Karagar and as an associate producer in Chorki's "Kaalpurush" in 2024.[9]
His third directional film, titled Utshob (2025), which was widely appreciated by the audience and set a unique precedent by earning around ৳13 crores worldwide.[10][11] After success of Utshob, Noor announced his upcoming feature film "Bonolota Express", which is based on Humayun Ahmed's novel "Kichukkhon".[12][13]
