Teresa Aço Taveira (1852 – 1892) was a Portuguese actress.
Teresa Aço Taveira was born on 18 May 1852 at Silves, a town in the Algarve region of Portugal. She was orphaned at a young age and was left being responsible for three younger sisters, one of whom, Dores Aço, also became an actress. To earn a living, she worked as a seamstress. She made her debut at the Teatro Gil Vicente, Lagos in the region of Algarve but then moved to the Teatro Lethes, in Faro, where she performed more important roles.[1][2][3]
