Turiyan (Persian: توريان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Ramkan Rural District of the Central District of Qeshm County, Hormozgan province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Ramkan,[5] now a city.[4] The village suffered heavily in the 2005 Qeshm earthquake.[6]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,051 in 430 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 1,969 people in 453 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,339 people in 625 households.[2]
