About Me
I have been editing on Wikipedia since July of 2021. Not as a user at first. I created the CostalCal user on June 10, 2023. Since then, I have made 4,000 edits and 36 articles as of March 4, 2026. That does not sound like much as some other users. But I care about the effort I put into making Wikipedia a better place. Wikipedia will never be perfect. However, I will try to make it as close to perfection as possible. I am a teenager; I make mistakes.
As of February 19, 2026 I have the Wikipedia:New pages patrol and Wikipedia:Extended confirmed user rights. I am a participant in Wikipedia:WikiProject Wildfire and Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation.
About AI
Most people shame me for using AI in the past. And, I appologize for using Artificial intelligence instead of doing the research myself. I am less into editing on Wikipedia now. All I want is for people to respect the work I have done on the website. The page Wikipedia:WikiProject AI Cleanup/Noticeboard/2025-10-21 CostalCal incredibly overexaggerates how many times I used AI on Wikipedia.
Why Am I Interested In Wildfires?
Wildfires are about statistics, and I enjoy that fact! They are deadly and scary. I want people to remember wildfires of the past so we can prevent wildfires in the future.
I don't really just edit wildfire pages as much as I used to. I spend most of my Wikipedia time on Special:NewPagesFeed. I will usually review in mass quantities, sorting by topic.
