My username is not a real word, I made it from Jaguar(ягуар) and the Russian suffix -nik, which indicates a place where a certain animal lives (муравейник/muraveinik: anthill, пчельник/pchelnik: apiary, etc.) So I'm the "Place where the Jaguars live".

I enjoy linguistics, literature, and history. I am currently a linguistics major. I mostly focus on articles about Russian and Soviet history, although I also write about literature from around the world.

My ultimate goal to make one article for a piece of literature or a writer from each country. I am also interested in increasing the exposure of women writers and their literature (these articles are in bold) and to create and write more articles about underrepresented countries on Wikipedia.
