Please cite sources
Hello, I'm Flibirigit. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mississauga IceDogs, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Flibirigit (talk) 14:30, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- Take it easy my friend, what's the harm in adding that silver is in their team colours? It had been their entire time in the league. 27JJ (talk) 14:55, 23 August 2024 (UTC)

WikiProject Ice Hockey
Hello there @27JJ. I have noticed that you have been making some really nice edits to OHL/junior ice hockey articles. That is why I am inviting you to join WikiProject Ice Hockey! Thanks. XR228 (talk) 02:42, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
Categorization of images
Please note that images do not go into the same category as articles. Logos and uniforms in the OHL should not be added to Category:Ontario Hockey League. Instead, a subcategory should be created such as Category:Ontario Hockey League logos or Category:Ontario Hockey League uniforms. Please see Category:National Hockey League as an example. jerseys
Hello JJ! I saw the Hockey jersey's you made, and I was wondering if you could possibly make the Hershey Bears jerseys? (or, if possible, teach me, so I can help with making hockey jerseys for wikipedia) If you were to make the Bears jerseys, I'd recommend after waiting until the bears drop their new uniforms (it's not really new uniforms, just an updated sleeve) Thanks! 45BearsFan (talk) 14:51, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- I’d be happy to make the Bears uniform. I appreciate the tip as well, since I always make the effort to do thorough research and aim for up-to-date accuracy.
- I use Adobe Illustrator to illustrate the uniforms. I have an extensive background in high-fidelity graphic design and these contributions are an application of my skill. Unfortunately, there isn't much of a walk-thru or anything even close - so I have built my own workflow. I ran a good deal trial-and-error to build it in the first place, so I'm required to problem solve and keep certain intricacies I've found top-of-mind while I illustrate. Although it is easier for me, and allows a good deal of customization and versatility, it also leaves a considerable margin for error. I really don't believe it to be the most efficient method, and it’s not something I could easily teach to someone, even if they had a solid background in graphic design or experience with Illustrator. My process and files could be difficult for someone to replicate without building from scratch.
- There are likely simpler methods using software programs that are intended for pixel-based illustration, but I'm less familiar with using them. 27JJ (talk) 19:59, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @27JJ! Great work with all the OHL jerseys! Firstly, I apologize if I'm going about this request the wrong way, I'm fairly new to editing here. The Kitchener Rangers have had a 3rd/alternate red jersey they have been using for many years now. I wondered if you would be willing to take a shot at adding it to the page? Keep up the great work! Jerseys of defunct teams
Please do not add jerseyes to the infobox of defunct teams. Instead, please place the image in the appropriate section such as history, or team colours. Also, please see the edits summaries left by User:Echoedmyron. Best wishes. Flibirigit (talk) 16:08, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- Now in fairness... I had done that with the first defunct team I illustrated. You had removed it from the appropriate section and moved it into the info-box. This was for the Toronto St. Michael's Majors.
- I removed the image because it did not have a correct copyright license at the time. After the license was corrected, I should have restored it to the history section and not the infobox. Flibirigit (talk) 00:09, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- Obviously I mean well, thanks for the patience. 27JJ (talk) 17:33, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

Utah Mammoth
Thanks for creating the Utah Mammoth new uniforms. I noticed that you made a mistake for the shorts. The "U" logo on the shorts is suppose to be on the right side, not the left. But other than that, great work! 2601:406:8180:30E0:78C5:1CE6:15CE:7C66 (talk) 17:26, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
Penguins alternate
Howdy, just letting you know as the recent uploader of several new NHL uniform graphics - the Pittsburgh Penguins' alternate jersey is several years out of date, if you get a chance to update it. The Kip (contribs) 16:14, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note Kip, and you're absolutely right about that set being out of date. I've got them on my radar, as we're on the lookout for their new alt to release this season. I've already made some updates to their home and road uniform in anticipation, I'll have that image updated as soon as the new sweaters drop.

Thanks for your Caps update.
Hi, Just noticed the Washington Capitals jerseys were updated. It looks a lot better, and you really improved on my previous edits. Thank you so much for your great work. :-) SheLikesHeraldry (talk) 10:05, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
Question about Pittsburgh
Hello there!
I hope you wouldn't mind, but I changed the Pittsburgh uniforms to be more accurate. (Adding sponsorship patch etc.)
I was just wondering however, I am not much the best when it comes to doing smaller logos. As you know, the Penguins have their logo on their shorts. Right now I just have it as a blury pic, but would it be possible if you had any recommendations or perhaps adjustments so it can be in similar format to the pixelated logos? Or do you believe it is fine the way it is. Just wanted to ask the expert. Thank you... very inspired by your work... :)

- Hello!
- I am always happy to help. First and foremost, thank you again for your contributions and commitment to accuracy!
- For smaller logos like the one on the pants, here’s the process I typically follow:
- I bring the logo into Photoshop and crop it tightly so there’s no background.
- I take that into Illustrator and scale it to roughly the size I want.
- Then I go back into Photoshop → Image > Image Size, set resample to Nearest Neighbour (Hard Edges), and resize it to the exact pixel width I need (14px in this case).
- This gives you a pixelated version of the logo. It can work as-is, but it’ll usually still look a bit soft.
- From there, I bring it back into Illustrator and use it as a reference to recreate the logo manually, pixel by pixel.
- That last step is what really makes it feel clean and consistent with the rest of the pixel-style logos.
- For the Penguins logo specifically, a 14 x 13 pixel grid works really well for the pant leg. It’ll look like simple squares up close, but from normal viewing distance it should read clearly as the logo.
- I am hoping this link stays active on here long enough for you to view it: https://ibb.co/mC8gnSSC
- Feel free to recreate it directly based on what I shared, it should give you a clear idea of how I approach this.
- You’re definitely on the right track already, cheers and best of luck creating! 27JJ (talk) 14:39, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hello there!
- Thank you for the very helpful tutorial. No worries at all, I viewed your image, and now reflected it onto the Penguins jerseys! Or in this case... shorts... lol. (Should give it a few days for it to be uploaded fully to Wikipedia.)
- File:ECM-Uniform-PIT.png
- I also followed your advice to fix up the Anaheim Ducks jerseys as well.
- File:WCP-Uniform-ANA.PNG
- Thanks for all the nice words! Let me know what you think.
- Also... perhaps I may request. Maybe when more teams introduce new jerseys or changes. Perhaps we could collaborate together on some of them or I could ask for any more advice? Your work is very impressive, and I'd love to help in any way I can. Have a nice day! SheLikesHeraldry (talk) 20:09, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Looks great! That cleaned up really nicely, the pant logo reads better now. Good call applying it to Anaheim as well, accuracy is key.
- I’ve been working on adding more detail across the NHL sets with an updated template, I actually have a chunk of the teams done already. I’ve just been holding off on uploading since the league is introducing a 4th jersey program next season, so I’d rather update everything at once after those are released.
- Here’s a quick example of what I’ve been working on: https://ibb.co/PGVc5Rwz
- An additional 32 uniforms will be quite a bit of work, as they will all release at the same time. I’d definitely be open to collaborating on something like that when the time comes.
- I work primarily in Adobe Illustrator for the builds. Happy to share templates as well if that would help you as you're contributing. 27JJ (talk) 02:44, 28 March 2026 (UTC)
