April 2024

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. Even a short summary is better than no summary. Thanks. Isaidnoway (talk) 12:28, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

Season articles

Hello,

Hope you are well,

Just wondering why you undid my edits to the Ayr, Dundee United and Falkirk season articles. Happy to discuss.

Stevie fae Scotland (talk) 07:18, 11 May 2024 (UTC)

Personally I think the collapsable box style is better suited but that's just me. 98AL (talk) 13:18, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for your reply. I had hoped to work constructively with other editors to improve Scottish football articles so that they meet MOS:ACCESS. It's unfortunate that the collapsible boxes don't as they are very widespread. I'm open to ideas though, there is more than one solution to this issue. Is there something about the collapsible boxes that you particularly like that could perhaps be incorporated into something which does meet the policy? Stevie fae Scotland (talk) 13:24, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
I like the collapsible layout because I think visually it looks more interesting from a reader's perspective and is also able to present more information. I'm happy to work with other editors to brainstorm different approaches and create a consistency. No personal grievance was intended. 98AL (talk) 13:47, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
No worries, I didn't mean to make you think there was any grievance. It's sometimes difficult to get tone right in black and white.
I drafted a couple of other formats with more information here (the discipline column was American specific as most discussions at WP:FOOTY conclude against the inclusion of yellow/red cards). I don't think they are perfect though so any thoughts on them are appreciated. They also aren't templated and I feel a template may be easier to help more editors, especially if the parameters are the same. Stevie fae Scotland (talk) 16:03, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from Victoria Park, Dingwall into Ross County F.C.. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content (here or elsewhere), Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:18, 28 May 2025 (UTC)

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Liam Morrison article, but I have found one and added it for you. Please try and remember to include sources yourself with future edits. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 19:21, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

I was reverting vandalism on the article. 98AL (talk) 19:45, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

2025–26 Aberdeen F.C. season

Hi 98AL, thanks for your edits on the 2025–26 Aberdeen F.C. season article - in the Summary section, there aren't any sources, and the wording needs to be a little more neutral. Thank you for all your contributions though, you've been very consistent and added a lot of information! RossEvans19 (talk) 17:39, 17 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi Ross, it hasn’t been me that’s filled out the summary sections. I’ve only been editing the results and stats sections.
Thanks 98AL (talk) 12:33, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
My bad! I'm going to check the article again and send this to whoever has been :) RossEvans19 (talk) 14:27, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
