Welcome!
Hello, ACTExpo, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Draft:ACT Expo, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, which will be reviewed by other editors. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. If you are having trouble, you may want to try using the unblock wizard.
Before requesting a new username, check if it is still available. If the search says "There is no global account for [username]", the username is free to use.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the edit. Bishonen | tålk 20:00, 12 March 2026 (UTC)Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:ACT Expo

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:ACT Expo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Request reason:
I now completely understand why the block was put in place. My username and article post are a conflict of interest as I work for the company that hosts ACTExpo. I do truly apologize for this mistake as I was not aware of this, or I would have disclosed ahead of time and chosen a different username. I did not intend to misuse WIkipedia for promotion, and after reading several articles on the conflict of interest guide, appeal submission, and block guides, I did not disclose that I am working with TRC, the host of ACT Expo to post, and that is my mistake that I am deeply regretting. I was not aware until submitting and creating this, hence the username being ACT Expo and my comments on random pages like Harry Styles and commercial transportation industry leaders, and I see now the conflict of interest. I had very little familiarity with the Wikipedia platform before creating this account beyond reading articles and Wikihop games. I do not want my contributions to be biased or favored and am fully open to and request to be working with editor teams and reviewers to revise the content and ensure appropriate language as I am managing this effort on my own. I just wanted ACT Expo to be on the same level with CES which has a page on Wiki and provides good, reliable information. I acknowledge the conflict of interest and worked thoroughly to identify reliable, trusted industry sources to create a neutral language. If the account is unblocked, I will change the username to a personal, policy-compliant name in hopes to publish the page and will put a UserboxCOI link to the page and disclose that it was created by the hosts of ACT Expo and revised by Wikipedia's review team for credibility and transparency. Any future contributions will be as neutral and unbiased as possible as I have now done immense research into the conflict of interest policies, read examples of neutral language, and am eager to work with Wikipedia's reviewers to uphold proper etiquette and not break and COI or community policy again. If there is anything else I can do, please let me know. Thank you.
Decline reason:
Duplicate request. Only one open request is needed at a time. 331dot (talk) 07:53, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:Administrators should consider discussing any unblock with the blocking administrator (see the blocking policy).
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, please replace this template with the following:
{{unblock-un on hold | 1=blocking administrator | 2=CleanTransporter | 3=I want my content to be focused on the clean transportation industry where I intend to make a majority of contributions. | 4=~~~~}}
If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following:
{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=CleanTransporter | reason=I want my content to be focused on the clean transportation industry where I intend to make a majority of contributions. | accept=Allowing username change to requested username. Please select an option from [[Wikipedia:Changing username]] and file a request as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. ~~~~}}
If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following, replacing {{subst:Decline reason here}} with any specific rationale. If you do not edit the text after "decline=", a default reason why the request was declined will be inserted.
{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=CleanTransporter | reason=I want my content to be focused on the clean transportation industry where I intend to make a majority of contributions. | decline={{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}
You haven't proposed a new username yet. You mention conflict of interest, but not paid editing, which includes your employment with the company that puts on ths event. Also know thst one event meriting an article does not necessarily mean that others do. 331dot (talk) 21:19, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
- The username request was rejected because I was blocked from content so I figured this appeal has to happen first, thank you for the insight on paid contribution. Other than adding in the COI, what else can I do to indicate paid contribution? ANy guidance is appreciated ACTExpo (talk) 21:40, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
- You would just need to make the paid editing disclosure on your user page. Industry sources like trade publications are often too close to the topic(and often are interviews and press releases) to use to establish notability- but, if you are willing to use indirect processes like edit requests and the article wizard, I'd consider removing the block. I'd also suggest using the new user tutorial once unblocked. 331dot (talk) 07:53, 23 March 2026 (UTC)

- I am extremely happy to use edit requests and article wizard, that gives me exactly what I need to make sure the content is properly framed and impartial. I am currently unable to edit the user page since I am blocked but have the paid|employer=name of employer|client=name of client understanding and am ready to deploy. I familiarized myself and my team on the new user guide as well. Please let me know what you advise as next steps. CleanTransporter (talk) 17:26, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
