- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

- Information has been added here at will with political bias. The allegations against him have not yet been proven, and he is not yet a fugitive from the court. It is also not true that the protesters are drug addicts. He did not say this to everyone in general. Moreover, how can a political person's infobox be criminal? Rtksss (talk) 18:59, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
- he has not appeared before the courts. ICT has issued an arrest warrant. Law enforcement searched his home to arrest him but couldn't find him. He has been charged with crimes against humanity. So he is a fugitive with charges of murder, crimes against humanity and corruption. Arknights12 (talk) 23:18, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
- The section about Arafat allegedly ordering the shutdown of private TV channels is mentioned twice in slightly different ways.
- The first instance is in the paragraph discussing his involvement in the 2024 Bangladesh Quota Reform Movement and his alleged role in suspending broadcasts (with specific mention of WhatsApp).
- The second instance appears again later, under the "Controversy" section, stating that he ordered the shutdown of private TV channels during the same protests.
- Removed redundant content to improve clarity and avoid repetition, in line with Wikipedia's Manual of Style (WP:MOS) and guidelines for conciseness and clarity (WP:V, WP:NPOV) 103.130.11.62 (talk) 13:51, 3 March 2025 (UTC)
Subject: Concern Regarding Administrator Bias and Selective Editing
Dear Wikipedia Community,
I would like to raise a concern regarding a Wikipedia administrator's handling of edits on Mohammad A. Arafat. It appears that the admin is selectively adding information while opposing valid contributions that provide necessary context. Specifically, the ORCHR report has been included as relevant to the page, yet the response from the concerned party has been deemed irrelevant. This creates an imbalance and contradicts Wikipedia’s Neutral Point of View (NPOV) policy.
I believe that if a report is considered important enough to be included, then the response addressing it should also be part of the article to ensure fairness and neutrality. However, attempts to discuss this have been met with resistance.
I kindly request an independent review of this issue to determine whether the admin’s approach aligns with Wikipedia’s core policies. Transparency and fairness are essential to maintaining Wikipedia’s credibility.
I have been contributing to this discussion with explanations and without bias. However, I have noticed repeated warnings directed at me without valid justification. At the same time, edits are being made to the page that appear to reflect bias. Wikipedia's guidelines emphasize neutrality, and I believe all contributions should be evaluated fairly based on these principles.
Thank you for your time and consideration. TahiHasan (talk) 07:19, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
Now at WP:ANI
Hi, Arknights12. TahiHasan has now taken their complaint to WP:ANI, where it has met such a frosty reception that I don't think there's any great need for you to comment. (Unless you want to propose a BOOMERANG.) I recommend WP:MANDY to your attention, though. A useful essay. Bishonen | tålk 10:29, 6 March 2025 (UTC).
- Thanks for the recommendation. Really needed that. Arknights12 (talk) 10:41, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Speedy deletion nomination of Nurul Azim Rony
Hello Arknights12,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Nurul Azim Rony for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#NPOV/BLP Compliance – Remove “Fugitive” from_Lead
Please discuss the contentious label rather than restoring, per WP:BLPRESTORE. Additionally, do not add any rumors or WP:SYNTH as you did here. Lastly, do not copy content directly from sources as you did in that prior edit. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:46, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- sorry about that. But I think the fugitive word is necessary in the article. He is being charged with very serious crimes and law enforcement is actively searching for him. Has an arrest warrant for these serious crimes. He hasn't appeared before courts. So he is evading justice/prosecution. I believe that is enough for using the word fugitive. I did include reputable secondary sources referring to him as such. Arknights12 (talk) 15:51, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- Please discuss this at the noticeboard thread I provided. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:57, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- Ok. Replied there. Arknights12 (talk) 16:01, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- Please discuss this at the noticeboard thread I provided. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:57, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
Unexplained removal of sourced content from Muhammad Yunus article
Hello, I noticed that you removed content from the Muhammad Yunus article with the summary "seems like undue weight given to it. Already mentioned in controversy." However, the lead is meant to summarize key points from the body of the article per WP:LEAD. Please avoid removing such content without discussion. Continued removal without consensus may be considered disruptive editing. Thank you. TahiHasan (talk) 16:11, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- I have raised the issue at BLP noticeboard. Let's further discuss it over there. Arknights12 (talk) 17:02, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
Warning regarding unexplained content removal
Hello Arknights12, I noticed that you removed content related to criticism of Muhammad Yunus from the lead section without providing a clear explanation in your edit summary. Please be reminded that per WP:LEAD and WP:DUE, the lead should briefly summarize key aspects of the article, including relevant and well-sourced controversies. Repeated removal of sourced content without consensus or justification may be considered disruptive editing.
If you believe the content is inappropriate, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than removing it unilaterally.
Thank you. TahiHasan (talk) 04:10, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- I did revert that immediately Arknights12 (talk) 05:44, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
