Request reason:
What technicals could there possibly be? You can't say? The CU surely doesn't state any technicals. How am I supposed to appeal then? I can see what others are saying and agree ,there's no way that all of us who were blocked in the past 10 years are the same user. Askab112 (talk) 18:40, 3 April 2026 (UTC)

Girth Summit could you elaborate? There are obviously multiple people who you have aggregated as this one user. I'm sure that check user hasn't made a positive match , so I don't know where you are getting this. Askab112 (talk) 17:16, 5 April 2026 (UTC)

- They can't share checkuser data with you, but Wikimedia Foundation policy. The most likely information is generally IP and user agent information, but only checkusers know for sure, and checkusers are only a subset of administrators. A successful unblock request would most likely be from one of these two options:
- A plausible explanation why information this or similar types of information would find overlap of you and a completely separate editor also fixated on nationalist fighting about Nikola Tesla.
- Following the WP:OFFER. If you spent six months being productive on another WMF project, on topics completely unrelated to Nikola Tesla and his nationality, it would be a lot easier for an admin to believe in your good faith. Jumping in nowhere into a extremely controversial dispute in an area not obvious to a new user, immediately after creating an account is not behavior that will earn you the benefit of many doubts. But demonstrating you're here to build an encyclopedia, not as an WP:SPI to take sides in a dreary regional dispute might earn you that benefit of the doubt.
- And yes, there have been a number of cases in which people explicitly created sockpuppets for a decade or more in order to win an argument they're obsessed with. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 18:54, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
