Helping at the Teahouse

Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for being bold and trying to help others at the Teahouse.

I would like to politely suggest that you avoid doing so until you gain a bit more experience, though. In answer to a recent question you said you can add sources that are trustable (So like the original google page of the product and Just add any source you can and if there is a problem with that the sysops will tell you. These are both not very good advice about reliable sources, and giving this kind of advice to a newcomer can be confusing for them and cause more problems.

If you're not sure of the answer to a question, just step back and leave it alone; there are plenty of experienced editors at the Teahouse who can help. Athanelar (talk) 10:57, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Extended confirmed

I wouldn't consider that permission gaming, since i didn't tell them to make dummy edits, I told them to make simple edits (so instead of creating a whole article(takes a lot of time), make a New section to an existing article.Balintkaistryingediting (Balint's Info, Talk, Balint's Edits) 16:04, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

One of the purposes of the extended confirmed permission being 500 edits, 30 days is to ensure that people have the proper experience required of the permission. Well i trusted that the person asking for the permissions, with thier 10+ years of experience, (oops, i didn't check if they were active all those years, but if they where, then) they should have enough experience in editing.
