CS1 error on Capital of Japan
Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Capital of Japan, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A generic name error. References show this error when author or editor name parameters use place-holder names. Please edit the article to include the source's actual author or editor name. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 09:01, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
Edit comments in Japanese
Hello! This is English Wikipedia, so edit comments need to be understandable by the general reader, and should be in English. I am not going to argue with you in Japanese here, because it is counterproductive. Imaginatorium (talk) 06:06, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- I understand. From now on, I will write in English. Capitalkyoto (talk) 06:10, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
Heir apparent vs heir presumptive
Hi! Welcome to Wikipedia. Firstly, I would like to let you know that edit warring is not okay. When your edit is reverted, you should discuss to see what's wrong. Secondly, the terms heir apparent and heir presumptive have very specific meanings in English. An heir apparent is someone who can never be displaced by the birth of another. Please see those articles for further explanations. The emperor's brother can never be heir apparent in Japan because the emperor could always have a son. Surtsicna (talk) 16:24, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
