Your submission at Articles for creation: KaFe Rocks (January 11)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Slywriter was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Appears to be interviews and primary material

Your submission at Articles for creation: Boho Beautiful (March 6)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Bonadea were:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

No changes since draftification. The draft creator was blocked for UPE; the user who submitted the draft immediately after it was draftified has disclosed their paid relationship.

The comment the reviewer left was:
No change – still no claim to notability, no sourcing that meets any part of WP:SIGCOV, and it is essentially an advert.

The draft creator has listed some sources that they believe "meet this criteria[sic]" and count towards SIGCOV (see the draft talk page; please do not edit the AfC review templates or post responses on the draft page). They are as follows:

  • paid promo piece in local newspaper
  • an info page that doesn't mention Boho or its founders; it looks like there has been a review on that website but the URL used below (""Boho Beautiful Review". DietSpotlight. May 4, 2020.") redirects to the URL listed here
  • brief, paid promo piece in another local newspaper
  • four sentences in a list of "11 best yoga retreats"
  • two sentences about the "Boho Beautiful virtual stretch session" in a list of "14 online workouts"
  • three sentences in a list of "28 free YouTube fitness channels"
  • four sentences about one of their videos in a list of "10 yoga videos in 2022"
None of these sources, singly or taken together, do anything to show notability for the company, their app, or their YT channel. Neither does any of the other sources in the draft.

Are you an undeclared paid editor?

If you are being compensated in any way, by anyone for your work on Wikipedia, It's imperative that you declare any such relationships immediately.

Information icon

Hello Chessterb. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Chessterb. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Chessterb|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Quisqualis (talk) 04:14, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

No I am not. I am a declared paid editor! You can check my userpage. I have declared all my paid edits! But I am also doing regular edits, whatever I have not declared paid editing is not paid editing. Is there anything in particular you are asking about? maybe you didn't see that I have declared that I am a paid editor? Chessterb (talk) 07:16, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

The comment the reviewer left was:
There's a swarm of references, but all of them seem to be passing mentions, press releases or low-ball interviews. We need proper secondary sources and the dross to be removed.
