Adalaide Morris

Yes, you made a mistake. Adalaide Morris is not dead and the birth and death dates on her page are obviously wrong. I added an explanation on the page.
I don't have any experience editing Wikipedia so it would be helpful if you at least considered the changes and looked at the full record instead of being reactive. I'll set up an account and learn how to edit in the meantime. Thanks. 125.236.161.239 (talk) 21:59, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
My bad. The 1983 death date was added here months ago: . A quick web search reveals that there was an artist with the same name who died in that year: , who has been conflated with the Iowa professor. Chthe (talk) 22:04, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for tidying up the other bits.
Looks like Adelaide Morris (painter) has been confused with Adalaide Morris (poetry scholar). Thanks again for all of the valuable work you do in taking care of Wikipedia. 125.236.161.239 (talk) 00:12, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for all of your work. I have added a hat note, but Adelaide Morris (painter) does not seem to have a Wikipedia article. Nonetheless, it is good to clarify which Ada/elaide Morris is being discussed. Next time, please have this conversation on the talk page of the actual article so people can follow it.
