Speedy deletion of User:SunDAO Ventures/sandbox

Warning icon

Your user page, User:SunDAO Ventures/sandbox, has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be advertising which only promoted or publicized someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 331dot (talk) 08:54, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, website, or role, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. If you are having trouble, you may want to try using the unblock wizard.

Before requesting a new username, check if it is still available. If the search says "There is no global account for [username]", the username is free to use.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the edit. 331dot (talk) 08:54, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

Additionally, the following restriction(s) apply to this topic area:

  • All articles in this topic area are under WP:1RR (a limit of one revert per editor per article per 24-hour period). When in doubt, assume an edit is related and so is a revert. Clear vandalism of whatever origin may be reverted without restriction. Reverts of edits made by anonymous IP editors that are not vandalism are exempt from 1RR but are subject to the usual rules on edit warring. Editors who otherwise violate this 1RR restriction may be blocked without warning by any uninvolved administrator, even on a first offence.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Request reason:

I understand that my account was blocked because my edits appeared to be promotional and my username may have suggested that the account represents a business or organization. I sincerely apologize for this mistake.
My intention was not to misuse Wikipedia for advertising or promotion. I now understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and should only contain neutral, well-sourced information.
Regarding paid contributions, I confirm that I am associated with the subject related to my edits and I acknowledge that this may be considered a conflict of interest. I will follow Wikipedia’s paid-contribution disclosure and conflict-of-interest guidelines in the future.
If my account is unblocked, I am willing to change my username to a personal, policy-compliant name and avoid any promotional editing(I have already thought of the new account name but rename application was rejected due to haven't submit a unblock request yet). I will ensure that any future contributions are neutral, properly sourced, and helpful to the encyclopedia.
Thank you for consideration SunDAO Ventures (talk) 10:07, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I fixed your request so the duplicate was removed, and your statement is within it as intended. Please edit it to remove the words "Your proposed new username" and replace them with your choice of new username. You should click "edit" and not "reply" to do this, it's often better to click edit as the reply function is imperfect and does not work well in all situations. 331dot (talk) 13:07, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

  • Renamed. Another admin will review your request. 331dot (talk) 14:24, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
    Hi 331 DOT
May I ask the block situation? Colorbook1234 (talk) 09:11, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
Your request is open and pending. There are many requests awaiting review, please be patient. 331dot (talk) 09:15, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
If you're concerned about the block situation, one thing you should do is edit the unblock request to be in your own words, not the boilerplate unblock request spit out by an LLM, that is functionally identical to every other chatbot-written unblock request. LLM-written unblock requests are very often simply declined without consideration, and it'll take time as you'll then have to start over again with another, hopefully more productive unblock request. So you can save time by writing it properly now. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 11:16, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
