Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Saifullah Khan Dharejo when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) caste-related topics in South Asia.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

On a side note, are you a sock of User:Starkex? I'd appreciate you being truthful in this regard. Sutyarashi (talk) 16:26, 21 June 2026 (UTC)

Sutyarashi, no Dragon22121 has no affiliation with me, also to further tell you that not everybody on planet Earth is Starkex. Hope you understand that. Starkex (talk) 17:59, 21 June 2026 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Babbar (tribe), a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jamali was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Your edits are becoming disruptive. You have been warned multiple times about the need to use preview to check your edits, yet you continue to introduce unknown parameters into articles. You did this again at Ejaz Ahmed Samma when you modified the page. Please understand that while you may not find these edits a problem, they do cause issues for those attempting to clean up pages and prevent vandalism. Please respond to this message and acknowledge that you better monitor your edits moving forward. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 02:06, 11 July 2026 (UTC)

i will be careful from now on sorry for the inconvenience. Dragon22121 (talk) 02:08, 11 July 2026 (UTC)

Unsourced additions

You have removed sourced content and added unsourced here. That's disruptive, even if you are restoring pre-sock version. Explain why you did that. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 20:35, 16 July 2026 (UTC)

sorry i thought that was added by the sock i have reverted it i was restoring to this version i didnt add anything else ]. Dragon22121 (talk) 20:39, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
there seem to be sources about that specific claim here Chudasama dynasty#Origin Dragon22121 (talk) 21:11, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
I understand that you tried to restore the pre-sock version, that's fine. However, after I reverted the edit by the sock on 13th, I found the source to be good enough to support the historical name of the town. If you wish you can readd the pre-sock part but please support it with sources and keep the sentence regarding the historical name. Thanks. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 21:59, 16 July 2026 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Thari people, links pointing to the disambiguation pages Marwari and Sindhi were added.

Reference verification

Hi, I noticed that some of the references in the 'Umar Soomro I article don't seem to support the information cited. Could you please verify the page numbers? For example, in reference 9, page 245 doesn't seem to contain the information cited. Could you please check whether the page number is correct? Veritasphere (talk) 05:42, 2 August 2026 (UTC)

@Veritasphere
Was traversing this user page and saw your text. I've updated the ref at Umar Soomro I. The edition added by the user is from the year 1990. The ref which actually supports the text is from 2002. It is possible that the user just saw the Google text snippet which can have incorrect text or metadata sometimes. They did something similar at Kalhora which I had to update. Cheers. Sir Calculus (talk) 16:06, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
Thank you. Veritasphere (talk) 17:58, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
I don't have anything to do @Scinde1 I had pasted the Google link book to create a citation there and it's present in the uploaded google book Dragon22121 (talk) 18:16, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
Yes, Scinde clarified that on his userpage when I asked him. As for the link, the one you had inserted in the article is the 2024 version which can be verified from this diff . But the current link you have just shared is the correct one from 2025. Sir Calculus (talk) 18:29, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
My bad then. Thanks for correcting the link and clearing up the confusion, @Sir Calculus. Dragon22121 (talk) 18:34, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
