- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue on the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
- hi, thanks! I noticed on the Pedro Salimpour page you reverted my edit. Did I edit it in error? I didn't think the info about speeches needed to be at the top of the article, doesn't seem super important. Ethan.764 (talk) 01:19, 21 December 2025 (UTC)

Hi, this is Joyous!. I reverted your edit to this article because the opening section is supposed to summarize the main parts of the article. That's why you saw the information repeated. If you look at our article on maple syrup, for example, you'll see that everything in the lead is also in the main body of the article. Joyous! Noise! 01:17, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
