WP:AN gratitude...far too delayed...
I'm just now seeing this. Thank you for your thoroughness and exposure of this corruption. Buffs (talk) 05:28, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks, but I didn't do much more than jump on the bandwagon, honestly. The person who really deserved gratitude there was Tamzin, as you seem to have already figured out! Extraordinary Writ (talk) 06:15, 15 February 2026 (UTC)

Recent blocks
Hey, thanks for taking care of Captain Planet 31's recent edits. You may want to take a look at suspicious activity at Mexico News Daily AfD (see history). Those IPs and Captain Planet 31 seem to have been working together and I'm concern they may try to hit the discussion again or others. Morogris (✉ • ✎) 05:55, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, this one's a frequent flier. If you see them before I do, feel free to just report it to AIV. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 06:00, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

2026 Iran war
Hi there –
I'm sure you'd catch this yourself but I just wanted to point out that the article you moved, 2026 Iran war, is still linked at Template:In the News through a through a redirect 2026 Iran conflict. I only am bringing this up as I know you moved this on a technical request and the closer likely did not mention it. estar8806 (talk) ★ 19:51, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
- Fixed, thanks. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 19:54, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

Rollback removal request
Hi. I tried requesting removal of rollback via WP:PERM/Rollback, but the bot incorrectly marked my request as Already done, seemingly terminating the request against my wish. Just asking because you're active in that project page, could you remove it for me? Thanks. 🌻 A♭m (Ring!) (Notes) 20:37, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
Sancha of Aragon
Hello! I recently rewrote the article above and added significant referenced content. Since my assigned mentor is on a wikibreak, I was wondering if you could help revise its rating on the content assessment scale, as I am unsure if I am authorized to change it from 'start class'. In addition, some of the sections are rephrased from the Italian wikipedia article: I know that you can state that a portion of the content is reiterated in English in the talk page, but I do not know how to do it. Hectorinaaa (talk) 06:02, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Hectorinaaa—nice work! Sure, I've re-rated it, although you're welcome to do so yourself in future (as WP:ASSESS says, "all editors, including editors who have written or improved an article, are encouraged to boldly set any quality rating that they believe is appropriate, except for the GA, FA, and A-class ratings"). Realistically the letter grades are pretty arbitrary and don't make much of a difference, so don't feel like you need to worry about them too much.
- For attributing the translation, I think the easiest way is to just link to the other Wikipedia's article in your edit summary, which is what I've just done. See WP:TFOLWP. (To link to another Wikipedia, use the prefix in its URL: the Italian Wikipedia is at it.wikipedia.org, so you can link to it with
[[it:Sancia d'Aragona]].) There's indeed also a template for the talk page, Template:Translated page, which would look like{{Translated page|it|Sancia d'Aragona}}, but it's optional and you don't need to worry about it as long as you've put something in the edit summary. Let me know if you have any other questions! Extraordinary Writ (talk) 06:35, 13 March 2026 (UTC)- No, that was all, and thanks for handling this kindly and responding quickly! Renaming of "Wikipedia:Recent additions"
The series of moves, such as Special:Diff/1343750555, was done as the result of the discussion Wikipedia talk:Did you know/Archive 212#Requested move 20 February 2026. All the modern monthly archives (linked at Template:DYK monthly archive nav) were moved.
Do you plan to also move the older, numbered archive pages, linked at Template:DYK archive nav? —andrybak (talk) 02:22, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Andrybak. Do you think it would be helpful? I mentioned at RM/TR that I wasn't exactly sure what to do with them. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 02:34, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- Yes. It would be confusing to future readers, who might stumble upon these pages, to leave them with the old name, while everything else (including the landing page Wikipedia:Did you know archive) was renamed. —andrybak (talk) 02:42, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- Okay, done. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 03:51, 17 March 2026 (UTC)

Question from CalebThompsonHQDA (17:57, 26 March 2026)
- Note: CalebThompsonHQDA's mentor Ampimd is away.
How do I archive a page and discontinue running it? --CalebThompsonHQDA (talk) 17:57, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- CalebThompsonHQDA, sorry, I'm not quite sure I understand: could you clarify what page you're referring to and what you mean by archive? Extraordinary Writ (talk) 18:19, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
