You may be wondering why my archives only start at August 2007. The reason: I didn't archive my pages before that date, I merely deleted them (as I didn't know how to archive). Therefore, if anyone wishes to see material before August 2007? check out this talkpage's 'history'.

Thanks
Thanks for your help on the AN page. I really wasn't sure how to proceed there, so I appreciate the help.
Would you mind if, in the future I should need it (hopefully I won't), that I put issues such as this passed you for assistance and guidance? I used to go to Deepfriedokra for that but, as I said, he's semi-retired and not online much anymore. If you'd rather I don't, that's fine and I completely understand. Anyway, thanks again....Neutralhomer • Talk • 01:40, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Neutralhomer: if I'm familiar with the topics, no prob. GoodDay (talk) 02:05, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
- Cool, I appreciate that. It's not going an everyday or every week thing. I only follow 10 articles, so situations will be extremely few and very far between. But I appreciate it. Take Care...Neutralhomer • Talk • 02:09, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
Well, didn't expect to need your help so soon. Tried talking to this user, just getting mass reverted again. Help, please? - Neutralhomer • Talk • 19:28, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
Nevermind. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 19:54, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
- Some editors take a little longer to respond. Good to see yas are working things out. GoodDay (talk) 21:31, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
- It wasn't that, he responded so it was no longer necessary. :) Sorry, I wasn't clear. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 00:23, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
Question
If an account is vanished, can that person come back under a new account? - Neutralhomer • Talk • 22:44, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- Only if they don't re-start the behavour that led them to vanishing. GoodDay (talk) 23:10, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- I, technically, can't comment on that, so I'll leave that up to your interpretation: User:Renamed_user_54e5a0d3f41d5b1ce137ef3c37afe286 (formerly Noahbug05) and User:Noahbug2005. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 01:07, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
- Actually, scratch that, I just saw this: Misuse of VANISH request and this. So, I guess it's been resolved. I was off-Wiki for a few for dinner (nuggies!) - Neutralhomer • Talk • 01:11, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
Clarification regarding your comment at WP:AE
While the membership bar doesn't say "God Emperor's Inquistion", if you check the Holy Inquisition linked on their user page, it directs you to Warhammer 40,000. It's a reference to the franchise.
I'm not quite certain why their user box was seen as relevant to the AE case, but after seeing your comment, I thought you'd like some clarification on the perceived discrepancy. Butterscotch Beluga (talk) 21:40, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Butterscotch Beluga: thanks. GoodDay (talk) 21:43, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
Hello @Newslinger:, does the WP:AEPR at Riposte97's AE report, mean I can't add more to my statement? GoodDay (talk) 19:40, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi GoodDay, not necessarily. Per WP:AEPR, you are still welcome to participate if your comment would qualify under item #5 ("Users providing links to relevant past discussions or administrative actions, without any editorialization") or item #6 ("Users who any participant has named, or whose actions any participant has referenced, but only to comment on the context in which they were mentioned"). Since you do not appear to have been named or referenced in WP:AE § Riposte97, #5 would be the only applicable item at this time. — Newslinger talk 20:24, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. GoodDay (talk) 20:42, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
Post-Soviet independence, Latvia
We seem to have a different interpretation over when Latvia became independent. GoodDay (talk) 03:50, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
- Maybe because you are not aware about Latvia's history? As I already wrote – Independence restored on 4 May 1990, which is a national holiday. You should restore to correct version. sbaio 03:54, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
- The infobox at Latvia has "21 August 1991", as the restoration date. I recommend we open a discussion at a WikiProject dealing with indepence dates, so we both can get this right. GoodDay (talk) 03:57, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Sbaio: I've asked (in relation to bios) at WP:MOSBIO talkpage, about Latvia's post-Soviet independence date. PS - I just want it clarified, which date to go by. GoodDay (talk) 05:10, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
God Emperor's Inquisition
At AE you wrote I looked over Riposte97's userpage. I don't see any "God Emperor's Inquistion" membership bar.
I believe the term that Snok meant was userbox. And it's right there.
As to the connotations of it, I'm not as sure as Snok. Yes, I've seen plenty of neo-nazis using Warhammer 40k imagery and themes as a sort of dog whistle, but WH40K is also popular among trans people and anti-racist players. Hence why I didn't comment on it. I don't think it actually means anything other than that Riposte likes WH40k.
I left this note here just in case there was some actual confusion, as I'm also a WH40k fan, and I'm not familiar with any 'membership bar' insignia used by the inquisition, so your comment didn't read like a joke (in-universe or otherwise) to me. Apologies if that's all it was. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 14:15, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
Minnesota Governor Edits
Hello, I've noticed you have replaced the links to the page 'list of governors of Minnesota' to the page 'governor of Minnesota' on most governor's pages. What is the purpose of these changes? You have not provided one in the changelog. Minnastronomer (talk) 20:03, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Minnastronomer: Cuts down on linkage & the office articles are better to link to, then list articles. In the last few years, we've been moving away from linking to 'list' articles, in these political bios. GoodDay (talk) 20:10, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
