Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in John Gaul Lebo, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See MOS:DATE. CodeTalker (talk) 18:48, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- @CodeTalker Hey, so I've learned that date should be like "Month, day of the week, day, year" that's why I did that sorry for the incovenience Grfdgfxd (talk) 19:13, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Grfdgfxd, see MOS:DATE for acceptable date formats. Dates can be either "month, day year" (MDY) or "day month year" (DMY) as long as the format is consistent within each article. Day of week is not normally used unless it is important to the context. A number with an ordinal suffix like "10th" should never be used.In the edit that you made, you changed the order from DMY to MDY even though all other dates in the article are DMY, and you also added an ordinal suffix, so it was wrong in two ways. No problem, just keep these rules in mind in your future edits. Thanks! CodeTalker (talk) 19:28, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
