Hello, I'm StefenTower. An edit that you recently made to Arrested Youth (musician) seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Stefen 𝕋ower Huddle • Handiwerk 21:11, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
- While many sources in the article are real, I have found at least 3 so far that are hallucinated. Wikipedia editors are required to verify all sources and put article text into their own words. Stefen 𝕋ower Huddle • Handiwerk 21:12, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Arrested Youth (musician). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. The changes made to remove tags and provide inadequate sourcing is disruptive. Please do not do this again. - Hi, thank you for reaching out and for taking the time to review my edits. :)
- I’ve added citations wherever they were requested, including for biographical details such as place of birth. Regarding his birth date, this information has been shared publicly through long-running fan pages on Instagram that have interacted directly with him. As he is a relatively unknown artist, there are limited publications that document these details, which makes sourcing more challenging.
- For the other sections, I relied on available interviews and, from what I know, reputable music publications, and I’m happy to adjust or remove any material that doesn’t meet Wikipedia’s sourcing standards. (which I did but apparently that does not fit either.)
- I’d also like to clarify that I did not use AI-generated text. All content was written manually by me, with the intention of summarizing sourced information in an encyclopedic and a bit professional tone. My goal was simply to create a properly sourced article for an artist I admire, as I noticed he did not yet have a dedicated page yet.
- I appreciate any guidance you have on improving the article further, but I'd like my sources to be kept still. Thank you again for your time. Hyperixnn (talk) 22:32, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
- Well, first of all, yes you did use AI-generated text and cannot fool anyone here with that. Several sources were hallucinated and the writing style in places is that of an AI generator. Also, you have tried to use a source that did not back up his birth date, thus the removal.
- My guidance is for you to let more experienced editors finish the article, as you are apparently dependent on AI to do your writing for you, and don't seem to understand when sources back up material. Stefen 𝕋ower Huddle • Handiwerk 22:38, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Arrested Youth (musician)

The article Arrested Youth (musician) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails the requirements of WP:MUSICBIO, is reliant on primary sources (Shorefire Media publishing press releases by the artist), and unreliable sources (Soundcloud, Shazam etc).
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.
If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Dan arndt (talk) 06:36, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
- How could I improve the page if I’m allowed to ask? He’s pretty unknown as an artist so I don’t really have any more reliable sources so I do with what I can and is available. 🥲 Hyperixnn (talk) 07:30, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
