I have sent you a note about a page you started
Hi JMMaok. Thank you for your work on Local Planning and Development Regulation in North Carolina. Another editor, North8000, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Nice work

Modeling U.S. government changes on Wikidata
I'm interested in being involved in how to model this. I don't maintain a watchlist on en-wiki or Wikidata, so please ping me if there is something for me to be involved in. - Jmabel | Talk 01:59, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- I appreciated your suggestions too and I would like to help. I've edited about gov agencies but not in the GovDirectory context. -- econterms (talk) 02:13, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
Following up on Jmabel's suggestion to maybe have a call to plan next steps. If the idea is to potentially start a series of calls or coworking sessions, the best time for me would probably be Thursday, 8PM. That way it would be after work hours for the US West Coast, but not too late on the East Coast. Alternatively, I could do sometime on Sunday, probably 7PM would be best but could shift a bit either way. Do any of those times work for you and if so do you have a preference?
- Hi again, JMMaok -- I think I can join the GovDirectory call on Fri June 14 and some other Fridays. I'm unsure about hosting a GovDirectory session at WCNA 2025. It sounds like a good idea, but I'm new to it, and I have other commitments and the program schedule might be jammed full as it is. I'd be more willing to do it if we have a couple of other organizers, on-site and/or on screen. We could also hold GovDirectory online sessions some other time. We have until the end of June to submit a session so let's keep conspiring to figure it out. -- econterms (talk) 21:27, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
- Sounds good! It's great that they've extended the proposal deadline through June. I'll keep talking to people, and if you hear of people who plan to attend, it would be great if you could mention the idea to them. We can definitely do online sessions another time, but WCNA seems like such a good fit.
- If you still want to help with North Carolina, I have the project page set up here: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_Govdirectory/United_States_of_America/North_Carolina . We can move North Carolina specific discussions to the Talk page there. If you could create a few of the Wikidata items before the June 14th call, that would be great. Not sure if you are already familiar with these Wikidata tutorials? I found them really helpful (and quick! ) when I was getting started. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions.
