Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, You Are the One (Andy Warhol), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 07:57, 16 March 2024 (UTC)

Hello,
I am new to this editing and I appreciate your feedback. Regarding the edit to “You Are The One,” I have no reference I can point to because I am, personally, the source. At the time that this video is purported to have been created (1985), I was an engineer from Commodore- Amiga tasked to work with Warhol in his studio on the Amiga. The software did not exist to create such videos, nor did Warhol possess the computer graphic proficiency to assemble something of the “Your Are The One” level. I was there in his studio during 1985 and early 1986 mentoring Warhol, so I know this firsthand. How can I correct the Wiki when I am the source? Further, how does one cite a source when it is to prove something did not occur? The articles out there on this topic simply picked up a fake claim from 2007 and ran with it.
again, thank you for your feedback.
Best regards. JSB1961 (talk) 14:25, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
Please see WP:OR - if no reliable, published source exists, it shouldn't be on the article. Personal experience is not a reliable source - for further guidance I recommend asking at the WP:TEAHOUSE, as the hosts there would be able to explain Wikipedia policies better than me.
