Neurodiversity

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that if you're interested in hearing other people's comments about the Neurodiversity article you might want to talk directly to Eubulides or SandyGeorgia, as I don't think many people watch the talk page of the Neurodiversity article (note that comments often go unanswered for months or even years). I would help myself but I'm sure exactly what it is you're saying as I'm not really much of an expert. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 10:22, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I saw that you have edited the Talk page of the Judy Singer article, and I hope I'm right in assuming that you are the subject of the article. Thank you for not editing the article itsel

It looks as if no-one has pointed you to the conflict of interest policy, which I will post below. This explains the process for requesting edits to an article about you. If you use the request edit template, other editors will be alerted to the request and can see if it is possible to make the changes you want. Please include independent, reliable sources for any requested changes. Best wishes, Tacyarg (talk) 14:50, 11 August 2024 (UTC)

Hi yes it is me. I would not dream of editing the page myself, but I have been targeted by my rivals in the Neurodiversity field who have made destructive edits designed to undermine my reputation and something needs to be done. Not only in my personal page but in the article about Neurodiversity, where they or their agents have inserted themselves.

I really do not want to have to learn to edit Wikipedia to get justice done. Surely Wikipedia has a vested interest in not allowing itself to be used for defamation. And surely you are not above the law.

I request that either Wikipedia does something about it, or simply removes the pages entirely.

Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Jsinger. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Judy Singer, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 14:50, 11 August 2024 (UTC)

Please note: The pages at issue have been libellously edited by my rivals. I have no confidence in you. Why should I go to the nightmare of correcting their fabrications? You are now adding to the horrors of "fake news". Wikipedia was a great idea in idealistic times. Now it should be restricted to Ancient History. But great proof that anarchism doesn't work. I ask that you take down the Neurodiversity page, which apart from the botched reference to me, is written by people who aren't qualified in the topic either. Jsinger (talk) 09:08, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
Hello! This is a very serious matter. Is anyone going to reply? I do not have" a conflict of interest". I am reporting a serious matter of defamation. I have not changed anything. The conflict of interest lies with the people who have vandalised entries pertaining to me. What is Wikipedia going to do about it? Jsinger (talk) 01:46, 26 February 2025 (UTC)

Hi there Judy, I know that we do not know each other, but I will be studying Psychology and Neuroscience and wanted to recognize and congratulate you on your contributions to the field and the coining of such an important and utilized term. It is very impressive and you deserve more recognition! Best, L.E. Rainer 00:19, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

Thank you L. E. Rainer! I really appreciate your words, especially as my career has virtually been destroyed by attacks on my reputation by younger rivals for the Neurodiversity "crown". It is all immensely painful and disillusioning. It is important to note that they are all "Young Turks" from the Northern Hemisphere. I am in my mid 70s and I never imagined that something I wrote (which was dredged out of my difficult "lived experience") should be so mauled with false and libellous allegations by hitherto highly-respected academics..They published their libels a year ago months ago, and I have only just managed to assemble my rebuttals in December. If interested, you can read my rebuttals at Reflections on the Neurodiversity Paradigm: The Price of Fame: Envy

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Judy Singer. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments belong on the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and may respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. LakesideMinersCome Talk To Me! 12:39, 8 October 2025 (UTC)

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain pages (Judy Singer) for contentious editing of an article you have a COI with.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Rusalkii (talk) 06:20, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
As the subject of this article you shouldn't be editing it directly. If you'd like to request a change, you'll need to submit an edit request. Please make sure the edit requests is supported by published, independent sources. Rusalkii (talk) 06:29, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Please explain to me why vicious competitors, scandalmongers or amateurs at best, are free to edit my biography, add misinformation and disinformation and I am the one who is blocked, while they go scott free. There is something terrible wrong here.
I want both my biography removed. This is outrageous!!! Jsinger (talk) 07:44, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
As a matter of policy, to avoid conflicts of interest no one should be editing their own article directly except in limited cases not covered by your edits. I have blocked you just from this article because you have been doing this. It has nothing to do with whether you're in the right and you're welcome to request edits on the talk page or point out which other editors you think have been violating our policies. Rusalkii (talk) 16:59, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
Can you remove the biography of me that has been corrupted by rivals or their agents? Jsinger (talk) 21:33, 12 November 2025 (UTC)
