Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ferhat Abbas, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. M.Bitton (talk) 20:11, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Saïd Mohammedi, you may be blocked from editing. M.Bitton (talk) 20:24, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
- Names constitute WP:NOTCITE. They do not require sourcing and are not usually sourced in articles. Jubq (talk) 20:27, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Ferhat Abbas. M.Bitton (talk) 20:25, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
It doesn't need a source.
(see diff) please read WP:OR and WP:ONUS. M.Bitton (talk) 20:30, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Hocine Aït Ahmed. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.
Important points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. M.Bitton (talk) 20:42, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
- Never seen this standard applied on French Wikipedia, which has the names of these people in the Kabyle language, or on this very Wikipedia, when someone tried to do the same thing to Moroccan region names. Anyhow it is easily sourced from Kabyle Media, as seen on this page, where the man is reffered to as Husin At Ahmed. So no, it doesn't need a source. Jubq (talk) 07:21, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

- The source clearly states his name in Chaoui is Aksel, and his name in Kabyle is Aksil. Where's the problem? Jubq (talk) 20:22, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Lounès Matoub. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Skitash (talk) 20:55, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Lounès Matoub, you may be blocked from editing. Skitash (talk) 21:16, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
