Iran War article
Apologies for adding something to the top of the Iran War article without consensus, didn’t realise we had to do that per the little box below which I must’ve missed, I have started a discussion on the talk page regarding alternative names. - No worries at all. Thanks for starting the discussion. It would be helpful to list the various names for this conflict somewhere in the article. Skitash (talk) 15:49, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- Would a note be suitable when a decision is reached? So have an “a” next to the name which has other names, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that style utilise son other articles on conflicts (can’t think of any examples as of yet) The Grenadian Historian (Aka. - An example I just thought if being WW2 or War of Jenkin’s ear The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 15:57, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- That's definitely a viable option. Skitash (talk) 15:59, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- 👍 I’ll wait for a while and see if anyone chimes into the conversation to throw in their ideas and what alternative names have been used by mainstream media. The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 16:05, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
