Rollback granted

Hi Kspiers. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
  • Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!

I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin) and Wikipedia:Rollback. Good luck and thanks! Brandon (talk) 02:32, 3 October 2025 (UTC)

Denomination/religion infoboxes

Hey! I see you're on something of a tear improving religious leader infoboxes. Please note that, when possible, specify which particular denomination a person a part of, rather than a broader tradition (e.g. Presbyterian Church (USA) instead of Presbyterianism). Additionally, in circumstances like that, consider the religion parameter redundant, as a member of a Christian denomination is already satisfactorily identified as Christian to the reader. Keep up the good work! Best, ~ Pbritti (talk) 23:19, 9 October 2025 (UTC)

Hi,
I can try my best to add the right denomination, but my main goal is shrinking the size of Category:Pages using infobox religious biography without religion parameter. For that reason I'd also prefer not to consider religion redundant even if the denomination identifies the religion (for most readers). Thanks Kspiers (talk) 23:25, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
I see the intention, but some maintenance categories don't need to be cleared out. I believe this is the case here. If you need assistance, though, please let me know! ~ Pbritti (talk) 23:49, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
I checked what John Calvin and Martin Luther do for comparison, and they seem fine listing both religion and denomination. I think it's ok to list both because not everyone will know the mapping between denominations are religions. Can you please limit reverting those to inaccuracy? A barnstar for you!

The Barnstar of Diligence
Very impressed with your contributions over the past several days. There's a lot we agree on, but above all you have my thanks and appreciation for starting something I've hoped would be done for quite a while (admittedly under the assumption that it would require a much larger team effort). Consistency is a virtue in this type of maintenance/structuring work, and I'm glad there are people out there who have the wherewithal necessary to accomplish it in the interest of the community writ-large. I wish you all the best, and look forward to seeing what more you can do. CSGinger14 (talk) 04:34, 12 October 2025 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.
