Disambiguation link notification for September 4
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of main battle tanks by generation, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Type 100. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Hongdu GJ-11, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you.. On a related note, changing well-supported content on no more than "because you say so" is unacceptable; WP:DUE exists for a reason. - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 16:26, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
Please remember to add the author to the references. It's a good way to weed out unreliable sources. If the author cannot be identified - which is usually an early step toward establishing reliability - it's usually a sign that the source should not be used. - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 01:54, 21 October 2025 (UTC)

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
Ref names
The concept of ref names is that you do not need to define the reference more than once in the article; once defined it can be invoked as many times as required. In (1) below, we have the definition, and in (2) we have a way of referring to the defined reference a second, third, or twenty-third time.
<ref name="chinadaily_250903">{{cite web|url=https://www.chinadailyasia.com/hk/article/619168 |title=All types of fifth-generation combat planes displayed at V-Day parade |website=China Daily |date=3 September 2025 |first=Lei |last=Zhao }}</ref><ref name="chinadaily_250903"/>
By the way, if you do duplicate a reference defintion, it does not generate an error in itself. But it generates a pathway by which other editors may introduce errors by altering one version of the definition.-- Toddy1 (talk) 19:17, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
