The Task Center
Learn what Wikipedians do and discover how to help. Has a list of maintenance tasks you can do.

Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue on the article's talk page. Be civil, and reach a consensus there before restoring the edit.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source. Do not use AI-generated text.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Geoff | Who, me? 04:05, 15 May 2026 (UTC)

Blocked as a sockpuppet

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Killmonger904 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Killmonger904. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you believe that there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then submit a request through the unblock wizard or through your talk page.  MCE89 (talk) 09:53, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
Hello, @MCE89 I just had a look at the talk page for the block and the username @Blackline448 has also been mentioned as a sockpuppet, I would like to know whether you think that @Killmonger904 and I share the same page as @Blackline448? MotorsportArchivePK (talk) 13:36, 23 July 2026 (UTC)

Requested username:

MotorsportsArchivePakistan (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)

Request reason:

The following request was written through the unblock wizard.

Please list all accounts you have used besides this one. - Have you taken the standard offer? (six months with no edits) Yes. Is there anything else that may be helpful to your unblock request? While I have edited multiple pages aside from "Dina Patel / Dina Rohinton Patel", the content uploaded on the subjects page was either 1) being removed without an explanation or cause pointing to vandalism and resulted in other accounts being blocked and 2) I was invited to join the deletion discussion as a member who has recently edited the article.

Decline reason:

Despite your claim to the contrary, it is pretty easy to see you haven't gone six months with zero edits. You were editing literally earlier today, and your entire account was created less than six months ago. Yamla (talk) 14:53, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
Hi Yamla, my apologies for the confusion, I had assumed that going six months with no edits was previous and not that I have to wait six months before I can make an edit. With that being said just wanted to clarify, I am to go six months without making any edits on any articles?
Additionally, the edit that took place earlier. Today was on the basis of the deletion of the page where Wikipedia's own policies mentioned that you can edit the page as long as the disclaimer is not removed. As someone with more experience than me with Wikipedia, what would you recommend I do in this case? Do you feel I should tag the other account as well? To ask them to clear their stance.
