Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue on the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, 🇵🇸🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦🇵🇸 13:24, 1 December 2025 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, team, club, organization, company, product, department, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change to this account.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Important items to note:

  • The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
    • You are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually. Examples include: "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
  • The new username you choose cannot already be taken and used by another account. You can search here to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns, "There is no global account for [username]", that means it is available.

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, department, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Thank you. Hammersoft (talk) 18:11, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
Hi there, Hammersoft! Given this editor's promotional editing in their sandbox, I would if it would make sense to change this to a uw-spamublock instead. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 21:52, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
Somewhat similar answer to what I said at User talk:StylusXTeam. I doubt they will continue to edit though and try to sort this out. --Hammersoft (talk) 22:40, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
I am a newcomer and it is my first contribution. Because of my lack sufficient knowledge and truly appreciate your guidance. This content was not intended for promotional purposes; rather, I posted it with the aim of translating an article that originally appeared on the Japanese version of Wikipedia. I acknowledge that I mistakenly registered a group name as my account username, and I would like to change it so that I can continue contributing to Wikipedia.

Speedy deletion nomination of User:SWYAA international/sandbox

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:SWYAA international/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Undisclosed paid editing

Information icon

Hello Muranocco. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Muranocco. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Muranocco|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 15:01, 13 November 2025 (UTC)

Hello, Significa liberdade. Thank you for your message. As a former participant in this program, I am voluntarily contributing to Wikipedia by translating and expanding articles from the Japanese version into English. My intention is to improve the accessibility and accuracy of information for a broader audience. I would like to clarify that I am not receiving, nor do I expect to receive, any form of compensation, directly or indirectly, for my edits. All of my contributions are made in good faith and with a commitment to Wikipedia’s principles of neutrality and verifiability. If there is anything further I should clarify or correct, I would appreciate your guidance. Thank you. Muranocco (talk) 22:02, 13 November 2025 (UTC)
Hello,Significa liberdade (she/her) . In my previous reply, I clarified that I am not receiving, nor do I expect to receive, any compensation for my edits, and that my contributions are voluntary and made in good faith. I would like to ask what further steps or instructions I should follow in order to continue editing appropriately. Would I be permitted to resume editing? Please let me know if there are any additional clarifications or actions required on my part. Thank you for your guidance. Muranocco (talk) 10:50, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
Hello and thank you for your reply! Since you are not employed by the organization and are not otherwise receiving payment to edit, you do not need to provide a payment disclosure. However, you do have a conflict of interest. This does not prohibit you from editing about the program, but it does make unbiased editing more challenging. Please use the Articles for Creation process to receive feedback on your draft article. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 15:57, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
Hello, Significa liberdade. Thank you very much for your clarification and guidance. I understand that while I do not need to provide a payment disclosure, my connection to the program constitutes a conflict of interest, and I appreciate your advice on how to proceed responsibly. I will begin preparing my draft and then submit it through the Articles for Creation process to receive feedback from other editors. If there are any specific points I should pay extra attention to when preparing the draft, I would greatly appreciate your advice. Thank you again for your support and guidance. Your submission at Articles for creation: sandbox (December 1)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Timtrent was:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
We require references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS please. See WP:42. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today. Your references are unsufficinret for this draft
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Hello, Faddle. Thank you very much for taking your time to review my article. As this was my first attempt, I know there are many areas where I fell short, and I am grateful for your help. Because my submission was said to lack sufficient reliable sources, I will add more references and improve the draft. I appreciate your continued advice and support. Thank you!
