Hello there! I have used Wikipedia for years but have never gotten around to making an account. I intend to add information about topics that interest me as I find them. @DawnDataDreamer There is no "review" process for most pages. Some pages are protected so only users meeting a certain criteria can edit (to prevent spam, vandalism, etc), some have pending changes protection where edits by new users have to be reviewed, but this is rare. • The content of Wikipedia:Writing articles with large language models has been updated following a request for comment. It now prohibits using LLMs to generate content, with exceptions for translation and copy-editing.

Arbitration

• Following a motion, the GSCASTE extended-confirmed restriction in the Indian military history case has been narrowed. It now applies to caste-related topics in South Asia, and the preemptive protection remedy has been amended accordingly.
• The arbitration case Pbsouthwood has been closed.
• The arbitration case Maghreb has been opened. Evidence submissions in this case will close on 7 April.

Hi Myrealnamm! I'm new to editing and right now i'm editing someone under COI. I already added my COI disclosure and etc. I want to post on the talk page but I noticed that when I check AI Detectors it gets flagged even though It is in my own words. Even my sources are flagged and because of this i'm hesitant to move forward on my talk proposal. I was already flagged before my first time, so i don't want to make the same mistake. • The arbitration case SchroCat has been opened. Evidence submissions in this case closed on 15 April.
• Per a recent motion, appeals of blocks from the conflict-of-interest VRT queue are, by default, appealed on-wiki through the normal unblock process. However, they may be heard by the Committee if COIVRTers disagree on the interpretation of the evidence or believe ArbCom would be better suited to hear the appeal. Administrators are also advised that loosening or lifting such blocks without the consent of someone with access to the queue or ArbCom can be grounds for desysopping.
• Per a recent motion, restrictions issued directly by the Committee may now be enforced with blocks which work exactly like contentious topic blocks.
• The arbitration case Maghreb has been closed.

Hello I am The Knowledge Lord newly returned to my home amongst you who protect knowledge… me think it might behoove you to know there is a literal historical mistake in the article called David (Israelite leader) The Posited King used a kinnor not a Harp a kinnor is a type of Lyre and cannot be played like a Harp… doesn’t sound like one either… the misunderstanding comes because when the Greek bible was translated by the British Museum by King James they translated the Greek word for “kinnor” into harp. The word used in the Greek bible was “psaltery” which was used to describe specific versions of a lyre history states this in itself might have even been a mistranslation of the Earlier Hebrew Old Testament or Torah and David’s instrument may not have even been a lyre at all. A serious mistranslation.
