Your submission at Articles for creation: Walter Boston Stitt, Jr. (February 23)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by MCE89 was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

March 2026 WikiProject Unreferenced articles backlog drive – award

Citation Barnstar

This award is given in recognition to NANDtrocity for collecting more than 12 points during the WikiProject Unreferenced articles's March 2026 backlog drive. Your contributions played a crucial role in sourcing over 8362 unsourced articles during the drive. Thank you so much for participating and helping to reduce the backlog! – DreamRimmer 16:37, 28 April 2026 (UTC)

Important discovery

I just found an inactive page that lists all of the cleanup templates. Almost all of the cleanup templates have categories, and some categories have backlogs of 200+ not previously reported. I made to some of the backlogs, but the majority have not been searched. Please tell people about this and happy editing. The goat with a horn on his head (talk) 19:39, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, Timtrent, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the person meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for people. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the person in detail, not brief mentions or interviews lacking independent analysis;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the person, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
There are great many ww2 veterans. You have not persuaded me that Stitt passes WP:BIO
