January 2025

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page 2025 Kartalkaya hotel fire has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. "rip turkey" doesn't have anything to do with the contents of your edit here (the actual edit itself is completely fine) Grumpylawnchair [ALT] (talk) 18:03, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

i was just saying "rest in peace turkey" because the situation was sad Nail123Real (talk) 18:22, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Please provide more describtive edit summaries (as in, make the edit summaries describe your edit) in the future. You aren't in trouble. Grumpylawnchair [ALT] (talk) 18:28, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
okay, i would make it more verbose, soon Nail123Real (talk) 18:38, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

On-wiki communication

Hi, I just wanted to note that it would probably be best if you didn't refer to spelling mistakes as 'vomit'. I'd guess that most people on this wiki don't speak English natively, so you should be nice to those who don't have great knowledge of the language; that comes with the added benefit of a lower chance of getting into conflict with other users. Of course, you did well fixing the mistakes (they should be fixed), but this is a volunteering project and nobody really appreciates their efforts being snarked at. :) WP:Etiquette has useful tips for keeping the atmosphere nice around here. oh, so my list of languages are inaccurate, and thanks for saying that i fixed a part of wikipedia, Thanks - Nail123Real (talk) 15:51, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
