Hello Operator24601. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Safi Rauf, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Operator24601. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Operator24601|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PRAXIDICAE🌈 12:08, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for the note, I am not financially compensated for the edits made. The edits made are all in the original article. I don't like the original language, it is not very well written. Thank you for the message. Operator24601 (talk) 00:57, 22 June 2022 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Operator24601. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.

It is clear you at least have a COI so you need COIDECLARE and refrain from directly editing any impacted articles. S0091 (talk) 15:43, 17 January 2023 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Sammi Cannold (January 17)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by S0091 was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Need to also address COI concern.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

COI

Please do not continue to edit until you have addressed any conflict of interest you might have. If you are connected to the subjects of the articles you edit (if you are them or know them in any way) you must disclose that and act in accordance with Wikipedia's guidelines, as described by other editors above. —Ganesha811 (talk) 15:39, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

Hi
I am not associated with the person of the subject. I don't have a COI to disclose. Thank you. Operator24601 (talk) 18:57, 16 October 2023 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Sammi Cannold (October 16)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Timtrent were:

I'm having difficulty with this. I want to accept an article on "the youngest female director in the American Repertory Theater's history" but I cannot see a reference for that.

I'm seeing references about things she has directed, but I'm not seeing enough references about Cannold. What is here is fascinating, but does not show that she passes WP:BIO. Ok, I might just not have happened on them, I've not checked every reference. I've checked sufficient that show me this is below the acceptance threshold.

This suggestion may seem radical. Write this afresh, totally afresh. Follow the process outlined in this essay, one of many on article creation. And references about Cannold first. Marshall them into a storyboard, and write, in your own words, what they say. She appears to me to have inherent notability. The question is "Does it pass our threshold?" Your job is to prove that it does.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

August 2024

Information icon Hi Operator24601! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Safi Rauf several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Safi Rauf, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 01:57, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
