• Поясню. Я тут сейчас по делам в академии в Москве, заходил в Вику через вайфай академии, и вдруг сегодня меня блокируют. Что интересно: это уже второй случай блокировки во время моего приезда по делам в ветакадемию. В первый раз Вы смогли решить проблему положительно. Надеюсь, что и сейчас аналогичная проблема будет улажена. К сожалению, проблемы прокси или вирусов в вайфае академии - за пределами моего исправления или влияния (и, честно, даже понимания).   • Здравствуйте. Лог срабатывания фильтра был для коллеги Butko. Так как я изменил параметры блокировки, Вы теперь сможете править с этого IP. То, что IP был два раза блокирован после Вашего подключения к вайфаю, подкрепляет моё подозрение, что на Вашем ПК находится что-то вредоносное, что открывает прокси. Очень советую попытаться найти это ПО, ведь блокировка IP в Википедии это ещё одно из наименьших зол, вызываемых вирусом или троянским конём. -- Q-bit array (talk) 20:20, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

    • IP диапазон 94.119.64.0/18 до сих пор заблокирован. Если Вы можете работать в Википедии, это означает, что у Вас сейчас другой IP. Не являясь ясновидцем, могу только предположить, что Вы выключили VPN (который перенаправлял Вас на прокси) и теперь входите с нормального IP Вашего сетевого провайдера. -- Q-bit array (talk) 09:14, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

Здравствуйте. Вам просто попадается "по наследству" IP адрес, заблокированный как прокси. В вашем диапазоне кто-то играется с прокси и палит IP. Снял блокировку. Если такое ещё раз произойдёт, попробуйте перезагрузить рутер и вам достанется другой IP. P.S.: Диапазон 213.87.128.0/19 был заблокирован только от анонимов. Перезагружать свой маршутизатор бесполезно, так как ip мне выдаёт маршрутизатор более высокого уровня, к которому у меня нет доступа.

Hi and thanks a lot! It was an old "acquaintance" of mine. He's an LTA, blocked by me many years ago after a SPI. He always tries to use proxies to evade the block, but it doesn't work very well because of my bot. And after each failed attempt he's mad at me. My account has been blocked on the Russian wiki by your bot for being an open proxy (I forgot to log in to my account so it was my IP Addres) however, the IP address is apparently an open proxy, and I had completely no idea about that. It's not weird - it's good. Usually the IP blocks don't prevent from editing your own talk page. Now you will be able to edit using your account, as I was able to find out which IP was blocked thru your test edit. P.S.: In order to avoid such unpleasant surprises with the unexpected IP blocks, please try to edit using your account. Здравствуйте. Флаг исключения из IP блокировок - очень опасный инструмент и поэтому присваивается только в случаях, когда совсем нет иного выхода. Да и в подавляющем большинстве случаев он не нужен, так как проблему можно решить иначе. Скажите пожалуйста, какие IP / диапазоны заблокированы (можно по Википочте). Буду разбираться попробую применять более краткосрочные блокировки: если там IP такие динамичные, то и блокировки должны быть короче. Hello SQL! My bot retrieves proxy data from different automated lists; commercial and free. Currently the bot is able to use 112 different data sources (User:ProcseeBot of the English Wikipedia is just one of them). The source code itself won’t be of very much use, as 90% of it are connector interfaces to specific information sources. Every source has a different API and data structure. In many cases there is no other choice, but to do the content grabbing. I'm spending a considerable amount of time evaluating the quality of the data sources and adapting the bot for them. The good ones are added, the bad ones - removed from the list on regular basis. And this consumes time. Without this regular maintenance the protection gets gaps. On the Russian Wikipedia we have a very serious problem with the proxy abuse. Almost every schoolchild in Russia knows how to use proxy / VPN / VPS / TOR in order to avoid internet censorship. This is why many vandals just reappear from the proxy 5 minutes after the previous IP has been blocked. The bot is now active since about 4 years. P.S.: Are you on the CU mailing list? Good morning Q-bit array -

The block which you recently imposed on me in Russian Wikipedia is unnecessarily harsh. Furthermore, I was given absolutely no prior warning that my "sins" were bad enough for that penalty; thus, I had no opportunity to try and rectify or remove the offending item before the ban was enforced.

In fact, it is very debatable whether I really am guilty of any serious, punishable 'incorrect behaviour', because I was only trying to be helpful - attempting to enrich the Russian-Wiki "Delta-T" site by linking to [what I believe is] a first-class diagram showing recent changes in the value of that important parameter.

On or soon after 14th March, I uploaded the same link [showing that diagram] into the English, German, Spanish and Japanese Wikipedias - and they are all still there, available for public viewing. Certainly, none of these four sites has even hinted that I deserve to be blocked.

I am quite happy not to challenge your deletion of my last Russian Wikipedia post regarding Delta-T... More than that - if unblocked, I will promise on my honour to never contribute anything more to Russian Wikipedia.

Unfortunately, your block does affect my membership of other Wikipedias - by being an awkward 'blot' on my record.

In English-Wiki, there is an easy way of appealing against a ban: offenders are pointed towards a specific link, where they can attempt to present reasons why it should not be imposed. [This has not actually happened to me, but I have noticed the procedure being applied to others]. Anyway, I was indeed invited to contact you, only to find that the block prevented me from doing that in Russian-Wiki ! ... That is why I have come onto your English site.

If you still have doubts, may I please ask you to forward my complaint to another Russian administrator, who could perhaps give a second opinion on this matter?

Hi Q-bit array, I've been working with Alexbarbershop lately. He is currently unable to access Wikipedia Library resources because you blocked him on ruwiki (a wiki where he hasn't been active) a few years ago for a username violation. I assume this is because of "barbershop" in his username? That is a pun on his last name (Barber) and not advertising for any business. I apologize for inappropriate username for advertising on Russian Wikipedia (as I didn't know, until I found out the rules there, as this is different from here in the United States), and I saw the message that I got blocked there, and I can't vanish my old account because of this.
