Pulhamite

Hi there, you changed the caption of the article from 'folly' to 'remnants of a folly'. On what info do you base this change? Keep in mind that James Pulham and Son specialised in pseudo ruins as follies. Judithcomm (talk) 13:59, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

Added a reference, cheers.--Judithcomm (talk) 12:43, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
The now archived post "random recall on Sydenham hill 1950-------" at Sydenham Town Forum. Also in the reference you added it has that the brick core of parts of the folly are now exposed. Rob Kam (talk) 16:43, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Rob Kam. Thank you for your work on Huw Llwyd. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for this biography of a 16th to 17th century Welsh poet. Reliable sourcing is difficult from the period, but you've done what you can! I wonder about the image - the photographer notes, 'Supposedly preached from by the 17th century preacher of the that name'. 'Preacher' doesn't quite fit with the biography, but perhaps 'wizard' is close enough to link the poet to the rock stack!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@Klbrain: I guess it's associated with him because his house is nearby. This auction catalogue, page 45 has a different description. Rob Kam (talk) 12:04, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
