Aria di Città moved to draftspace fails WP:NABLUM
An article you recently created, Aria di Città, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline or WP:NABLBUMand thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. discogs
Thanks for creating some new articles. I'd like to make a couple of points. First, discogs isn't a reliable source (see the list here). Second, because of the similarity between your user name and the subject of the articles you're editing, I also ask that you read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and comment here on whether or not you have a conflict of interest. Thanks. EddieHugh (talk) 22:51, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
Dear EddieHugh, thank you for your advice about Discogs. I have just removed Discogs, Cd baby and Cd Universe in all the pages that I have created and I won't use it anymore, of course after your useful input. As for the COI, please, have a look at my Robmag profile where I've explained and given evidence of my position (yes, it's Roberto Magris, and I've updated and completed the page on me - which was created by somebody else, not related with me and that I don't know - by creating some more pages about my recordings, plus more - see at my Robmag profile, please - while locked at home in Italy, where I'd returned just in time, in these bad virus-times). As you can see, I've never included nothing but what's strictly referred to the sources (no comments, no promotion, no self-anything) and the sources that I've included are immediately check-able on-line by clicking on the link, of course. As I've seen that you're taking care of jazz and jazz pianists in Wikipedia (thank you!), you will also notice that in all the pages that I've created the sources are Down Beat, All Music, All About Jazz, Jazz Hot and only magazines and websites that are absolutely renowned in the jazz community. Sorry, for including Discogs etc. without being aware that they are not reliable sources, but I must say that, before starting working on Wikipedia (also in Italian and German), I had checked before what sources were quoted in other similar pages of my collegues and I did the same... Sorry, but had used a wrong model... No problem, in the future pages that I'll create and I'll carefully follow the guidelines that you nicely mentioned. I hope I've cleared up the 2 points you made. If not or if there is something more that is needed that I do, please let me know. I remain at your disposal and thank you, once again, for your dedication to jazz. Best wishes. User:Robmag Roberto Magris
- Thanks for your reply. If you've read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and are happy to proceed, then that's fine; I should point out that some editors here are very intolerant of people editing articles that are about themselves, so you might encounter that.... I'll probably look through the articles that you've created at some point, so don't be alarmed if you see me editing lots of them. Please ask if you'd like help with anything. And stay safe. EddieHugh (talk) 20:03, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
Thank very much, Eddie, for your nice reply. Yes, I've read the Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and it's fine for me. You're welcome to edit and change whatever you think it's necessary in the articles that I've created. No problem. Only, I wonder how/when that "warning" about COI can be removed from the top of the Roberto Magris article. Maybe you can remove it or should it remain there? Best wishes. User:Robmag Roberto Magris
Reviews
It's good to show notability for creative works by quoting from reviews. But you don't need to quote quite so extensively. Boil it down. DS (talk) 15:07, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
Okay, I'll do it. Thank you for your advice (User:Robmag) 12:14, 23 April 2020

- Okay thanks, I’ll do it. As for the missing scores that you mentioned, I’ve double checked and all the links to the articles work fine. So, please, let me further know what’s exactly missing about those links. As a side note, a previous Wiki reviewer wrote to me exactly the contrary… not to add prose nor long comments bu just focus and increase the data. So I did this latest according to the previous instructions 😁. ~2026-47567-5 (talk) 09:57, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, the links to the articles for the scores work fine, but the actual scores themselves are missing from the box. For future reference, Template:Music ratings states "The template is not to be a substitute for a section in paragraph form, since a review can not be accurately boiled down to a simple rating out of five stars or other numeric score". Even a small comment would work great, like "Writing for Foobar Magazine, Joe Bloggs said the album was [...]" etc. I've written quite a few reception sections myself, check out the "Critical reception" section on Quaristice for a rough idea of what is expected. - Draft:Lovely Day(s) may be deleted at any time unless the copied text is removed. Copyrighted work cannot be allowed to remain on Wikipedia.

- Sorry to say, but you make it more and more complicate… I made it perfect at the very beginning, than the first reviewer wrote that the content was poor and I had to do similarly to what he did giving me an example of a page he did. And I did so. Then a further more reviewer wrote that I had to quote the resources and not change the text but report it ad it was in the resources. Now, you write now the contrary and that it shouldn’t quote and report the exact phrases. Guys… I am 67 and I have the impression that all together you are selfish and each of you wants what he wants, no matter if it’s the contrary of the previous. I am quite fed up with you all as this is not serious. I even contributed with some donation to Wikipedia in the past and now I wonder what’s this mess ?!?! My initial draft was just perfect and correct and after 2 months we’re questioning on every time different matters. Please, you can find 3 different versions made of my draft to match the request of 3 different people reviewers (???), you can adjust/remove what you (the latest) think isn’t correct (for you, but not for your previous collegues) or you can finally remove my draft and I’ll finish to take care of Wikipedia anymore. There is a limit as this is not serious. I’ve seen incredibly selfish things, with fake resources and so and nobody cares of removing that. With me, that I always provide double checked and absolutely reliable sources now it seems you alternatively say… this is too much, this is too little, this has no source(not true), this may have copyright (when I see that all the musicians have those same sources). Bah! This world has become quite strange and hard and harder to dear. I stop with this and let to some rare intelligent people to operate in Wikipedia. Have a nice evening. Robmag (talk) 21:02, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hello. I understand the creation and submission process can be frustrating. That's why we at the AFC insist novice editors become familiar with Wikipedia's rules first before considering creating an article. Just to be clear, you should never copypaste text from a source under copyright, with the exception of directly reporting what someone said. Copyright is a very serious issue in wikipedia and that is why I had to remove the text. Don't be discouraged! Perhaps what you need is to get some feedback or have your questions answered. I can do that or, if you prefer, you can request assistance from other editors at the Help desk. NeoGaze (talk) 23:03, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
