Lineups image for 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship final (2nd request)
Hi S.A. Julio - I see you've created images for final lineups including the 2021 edition, which really add value to the article. My request here last year probably got buried but I wanted to ask you to add one for the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship final. The source for the players' positioning is https://www.uefa.com/under21/match/2043356--england-vs-germany/. Thanks, C679 04:05, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
Reports format
If you don't mind me asking, what's up with the difference type of report formatting? Was there a consensus somewhere and, if so, what's the scope it applies to? Kodak11111 (talk) 03:22, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Kodak11111: There were some discussions previously on WT:FOOTY (for example here) about how to format the reports. Since the match details in {{Football box}} are being cited from the FIFA reports, they really should be formatted properly as a reference instead of as an external link. This has gradually been adopted more in recent years, for example see 2025–26 UEFA Champions League knockout phase. Additionally, since the World Cup article already contains a large number of references, I think dividing the report citations into their own reference group yields a cleaner appearance so they may be differentiated from the standard article citations (this has been similarly done on other articles too, for example see Heather O'Reilly#References or Carli Lloyd#References).
