Accents for IIHF
I use this database for most names, sometimes just google. It helps to use google in their own language for better results. Even then I am never completely certain.18abruce (talk) 20:46, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
Short Apology.
I’m sorry for that update that I did in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification. :( 2A02:587:6D18:B000:FD3C:8D8D:B0E1:6CF4 (talk) 21:31, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
- No worries! A very reasonable edit :) Kodak11111 (talk) 21:35, 18 June 2025 (UTC)

Karl Jobst self source
Hello! I am very new to Wikipedia but I did some looking around and I saw that on the list of sources YouTube is allowed for people who are talking about things they'd know about or themselves. Additionally, on other self source information they are allowed to talk about it if they wouldn't be lying or would know best etc etc. if I remember correctly. you might be right about it, but I'm just saying why I did it :) Laugoose (talk) 06:37, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
- Your source may be completely fine, I'm just not too familiar with the standards for those types of things. Thanks for your contribution and welcome to Wikipedia! Kodak11111 (talk) 10:11, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
Intercontinental playoff edit war
It might be beneficial to discuss on the talk page your opposition to that IP's edit. Cause now it seems like they're edit warring with the both of us. Jalen Barks (Woof) 21:18, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, fair point. Thanks. Kodak11111 (talk) 23:50, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
Is this real?
(Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facundo_Garcés) So I was looking at those suspended players that were ineligible to play at the Malaysia national football team, but when check the page for Facundo Garcés, I saw that he "joined" River Plate. In my opinion, this might be fake, because I haven’t seen a new about that and he also banned for one (1) year so how he did it? That’s probably fake. :/ ~2025-37152-02 (talk) 20:03, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- I don't know why this was posted to my talk page, but that most recent edit was unsourced and I've reverted it due to that. Kodak11111 (talk) 20:08, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- Good and also sorry. (I’m the same guy by the way) :( ~2025-37190-90 (talk) 20:44, 29 November 2025 (UTC)

iihf tournament attendance
I see what you are trying to do, I think it is a wasted effort. The IIHF generates this report that totals it for us. Probably just find a tidy way to add it as a source?18abruce (talk) 22:30, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
- Got it, I've undone my edit. Thanks! Kodak11111 (talk) 22:50, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
Consistency in WJC articles
Howdy. The onus is on you, to get a consensus for adding the "Quaulified Teams" section to the 2026 WJC article. Please note, we don't have it on the preceding WJC articles & shouldn't deviate from that. If you disagree? go to WP:HOCKEY. -- GoodDay (talk) 15:18, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- Pinging @ILoveSport2006 as it was their initial edit to include the Qualified Teams section in this edit here. Kodak11111 (talk) 15:29, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- I added it as I think it is useful as every team has a different history in the tournament and this table shows information about each team and their performances which I think would be interesting to the reader.
- @GoodDay I don't appreciate you using the consistency argument as almost every sport article has a portion of it that is not consistent to the other editions in question. If we are talking about consistency, then this table can be used for every WJC from now on. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 17:04, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- Are you going to add it to the other WJC articles? GoodDay (talk) 17:18, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- I will add the table for the articles starting the 2026 edition. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 17:21, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- Why are ignoring the preceding editions? GoodDay (talk) 17:41, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- Because I don't have all the time to do over 50 separate tables for over 50 editions. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 17:51, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- About 12 months, is enough time. GoodDay (talk) 17:57, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- I have to edit, update and create numerous sport articles in 12 months. Making 50 tables for the WJC is not in my plans. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 18:00, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- The fixation on previous editions does not make sense to me.
- If needed, please continue this discussion on the dedicated talk thread within WP:HOCKEY. Kodak11111 (talk) 18:04, 31 December 2025 (UTC)

Attendance refs on 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification – UEFA second round
Hi there - At the beginning of the UEFA first round I did the same thing as you about removing references from attendance figures once the FIFA match reports were updated, but they got put back. Apparently in UEFA tournaments some editors don't trust FIFA reports or something like that. I don't really understand, but I did have a little conversation about it on my talk page at the time. Not saying you should take the time to put them back, but don't be surprised if someone else does it, and IMO it's best to just let them remain. Wburrow (talk) 05:35, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for the heads up! Kodak11111 (talk) 05:37, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
