Speedy deletion nomination of User:Amicable.io

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Amicable.io, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Contested deletion
I’ve updated this user page to remove any promotional language and to comply with Wikipedia’s guidelines. The page now provides a neutral disclosure of affiliation and intended editing approach, in line with conflict of interest guidance. I believe it no longer meets the criteria for speedy deletion under G11. --Amicable.io (talk) 12:17, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.
Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change to this account.- To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then make a new one.
- If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page):
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.- Before requesting your new username, check if it is still available. If the search says "There is no global account for [username]", the username is free to use.
The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual:
- You are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually. Examples include: "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
If your username does not represent a group, organization, department, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Request reason:
Hi, I believe this block may have been triggered by my previous username, which included a company name. I understand that usernames suggesting affiliation or promotion are not permitted under Wikipedia’s username policy.
I have now changed my username to a neutral, non-promotional one ("SJ content") and would like to continue contributing in line with Wikipedia’s guidelines.
My intention is to make neutral, well-sourced contributions, and where I have a connection to a topic, I will disclose this and use the Articles for Creation process as recommended.
Please let me know if there is anything further I should do.
