- If you're ready to submit the draft for review, click the "Submit the draft for review!" button on the bottom right of that box. I would recommend a quick readthrough to clean up some unencyclopedic language first. Overall, it's a solid draft, but sentences like
He taught many, and was generous to his patients and to his fellow man
orDoctor Moss believed in helping those who want to help themselves in order to make them more able and resourceful. He wanted ultimately to benefit society as a whole
don't quite match Wikipedia's style, particularly when there's no source given. Good luck! Happy to answer further questions. —Ganesha811 (talk) 23:56, 19 July 2025 (UTC)- I have revised the article to remove any language that might be unencyclopedic. In that I don't want it deleted, is there a way to get it reviewed before final submission? Thanks Spencergmd (talk) 22:26, 25 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi - I am concerned that I am getting near the 30 day deadline and don't want to have the article declined. The Special Collectons Library at George Washington University is closed while they repair the AC until mid-late August. We can travel to DC when it opens in order to gain some more references, especially the exact source of the portrait photo that would be most appropriate for this article. Is there a way to put this on hold for say 30 days so I can search the archives for a few missing links? Thanks Spencergmd (talk) 20:09, 31 July 2025 (UTC)

- Hi Diannaa
- Thank you for replying to my submission. I have made changes and submitted for review - I was uncertain how to cite the sam esource a second time, so I credited it in the text as it was a large news article about Fred A. Moss about 60 years ago. THere is a book of poetry cited that was self- published in hardcopy. I also turned this into a pdf. I could post this on one of my web pages if that would be more acceptable. Thank you Spencergmd (talk) 20:09, 20 July 2025 (UTC)

- Hi Diannaa - I have competed editing the article and made every effort to use only encyclopedic language. I would like to include a photo. A previous photo that I submitted was rejected for insufficient copyright information. Since then, I have found a larger copy of the photo with the photographer "Edmonston" below the image - In that this is a portrait taken in 1934, the photographer was David Bell Edmonston. He died April 14, 1953. https://www.nytimes.com/1953/04/16/archives/david-b-edmonston-dies-photographer-ofresidents-76-i-had-studio-in.html Therefore, the image would be beyond copyright be age. Edmonston's studio has not reserved copyright on any images that I can find. There are many on Wikipedia. I have made a cropped version that omits the edges of the image that are more degraded by time. How should I proceed? Spencergmd (talk) 13:35, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
